This hotel is not easy to find. You need to go through the lobby of another hotel hotel and then cross a courtyard to access the elevators The reception is on the fourth floor and my room was on the second floor, this felt unusual. There is no communal area or bar and during my visit they were not serving breakfast. The room was a decent size and clean.

The hotel is located in a very fun and walkable neighborhood loaded with restaurant options. It was also a relatively short walk to the museums and Vondelpark. And the buses picked up right in the next block. The hotel itself was fine. The rooms weren't overly large, but had everything we needed. And the receptionist on the 4th floor was friendly and helpful.

Good location, plenty of options to eat nearby, comfortable room.

The decor was a bit faded. Room was small but you would expect that for a tourist hotel. Coffee machine was available in reception until 11 o'clock at night. Coffee was good. I would suggest going to a coffee shop for breakfast rather than at the hotel as the breakfast was very ordinary. Often the pastries were over cooked. Bread rolls were nice but the bread for toast wasn't. Fridge in cupboard produced a lot of heat in the room and air conditioning only moved the air around.

Very small room, bathroom flooded when you shower, minimal staff interaction, clean room, good location, no breakfast available

The staff were very friendly and the room was great for a city break

The room was very small and essentially consisted of just the bed. There was a desk, but it was too small for me to comfortably work from. However, the hotel has a pleasant common area and breakfast room where I was able to get some work done. The location is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby, a large park, and both the historic old town and the city’s famous art museums are within walking distance.

We were concerned with previous negative reviews but honestly the room was clean and we had everything we needed. We felt safe and it was easy to catch a bus to get anywhere we needed. There were plenty stores nearby if you needed grocery or last minute travel items. I really enjoyed that it was just far enough away from all the tourist attractions but took us no time to get to them. There are plenty of lovely coffee shops, bakeries and brasseries nearby. We did not pay for the breakfast but it’s nice that there was that option. Honestly, it was a much better stay than expected.

6/10 Good

The hotel location is great! I would say in General, the hotel is much better than many hotels in Amsterdam. Bed is good ( for my taste) . You do t hear neighbors or the street noises. So isolation works perfectly. However, AC is terrible. Temperature outside was 30 degrees and the AC was sooo old system and barely works. So i was really suffocating in the room. But as i said in general much better than many hotels

The staff are lovely and the location is great. You do get what you pay for in a sense that the facilities could do with maintenance. My tv was not working, some lights did not work, lighting overall was not great in the room but luckily it was sunny outside. The cleaner also did not replace the bath mat. The temperature system was quite useless. The room however is clean, the style is nice and the bathroom is lovely. No issues with the shower, bed was comfy, and room convenient.
