Just spent 3 nights at this hotel, firstly it was in a perfect position just on the outskirts of the centre but near enough to walk to and from. We arrived by Eurostar and walked down to the hotel which took about 45mins taking our time and looking in shop windows all the way. The room was perfect for our needs there was a kettle so we could make ourselves a hot drink, tea and milk were not replenished but we had plenty of stuff with us. The bathroom was compact however the shower was a usual size cubicle and the hot water was plentiful.
The balcony was a bonus and we even had one evening where we're sat with the doors open till 10pm which we didn't expect in October.
The bed was a little soft for me as I'm used to a hard bed, however we were so shattered after walking all day I still managed to sleep ok.
The area was quiet both during the day and in the evenings, we walked through the park on our last day and it is a nice park with lots of different birds to look out for.
The price we paid was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it was so easy to walk or jump on a tram from where we were and if you didn't want to stray far there were plenty of places very close by to eat or drink at. The reception are happy to hold your bags for you which is always a bonus. If you are looking for somewhere convenient, clean and with decent amenities this place is perfect.
