We had a great time staying at Pod 39. We loved the industrial chic flavor of the place, with the red, black and chrome accents. The bathroom was updated with new fixtures and stylish glass. The room wasn't large, but it was just big enough and fun and clean. The location was great for us; a quick walk to Grand Central and we had easy subway access to everything. The immediate neighborhood around Pod 39 had a deli, pizza, a bagel shop, dry cleaners, a spa and several restaurants.

This is in a nice locations, just a couple blocks from NY Public Library, Grand Central Station, Times Square. Rooms are small with basic necessities but we didn't plan to spend much time in the room so was just fine with us. The rooftop bar has nice views, but unfortunately was never open when we were at the hotel.

A PERFECT LITTLE FIND IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN

POD39 is the PERFECT hotel for business travel when you are working all day and just need somewhere nice and clean to lay down and sleep at night. Bed was comfortable, shower was wonderful (included shampoo, conditioner & body wash), everything was clean and the room was cleaned daily, whether I asked for it or not. The staff was courteous, friendly, professional and just great! Especially Jenae Johnson, the Assistant Front Office Manager.

The streets are calling....!

I have selected this property again for the third time within a few months because I very safe and at home. The staff and the complimentary coffee in the morning is a big plus as it prepares me for a day of shooting. I'm an unbarn landscape photographer and the streets of NYC is one of my favorite subjects to capture on both film and digitally.

The minute I walked into the lobby to check-in I knew I would be taken care of and most importantly in a very safe environment. I made sure I was up early for complimentary coffee serviced on the first floor dining space. Salma the young lady running the breakfast service was wonderful, even on a day she worked alone in a packed room. Gracias!
