We were welcomed into the hotel to drop our luggage off at 11am. The person on reception was delightful and very helpful. When checking in after 13.30, again the receptionist was helpful and we had someone help us with luggage to our room as there is no lift. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. The bathroom with shower was also very clean. Breakfast was continental - juices, cereals, pastries etc We stored our bags for the whole day, The hot is centrally located for St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge - both 5/6 mins away. For our return to Marco Polo airport the receptionist advised to use Alilaguna - which went from Rialto direct to airport for 18euros pp - excellent advice. Highly recommended hotel.

Hotel is in a fantastic location very central and easy to get to from the public water taxis nearest stop 5mins away or private water transfer 1min from nearest doc. Rooms are a bit small but it is central Venice, basic but very traditional and it was good value, clean tidy and a good continental breakfast sets you up for the day. If you don’t want or can’t afford 5 luxury this place is perfect and rooms were air conditioned a perfect base for a city break stay.
