This hotel is located in the best location for visiting the sites around Istanbul. Easy walking to must see sites and the metro transit system. The hotel staff and restaurant are fantastic. This is a great place to stay in Istanbul. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. The location is superb close to all of the major sites in Sultanhamet. The only weakness was that the Wi-Fi blocked my VPN but that is typical of many places in Turkey due to the authoritarian government. Overall I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Senatus Hotel was exactly how it’s pictured. Stayed in room 705. Beautiful terrace with the street view, working a/c. Bathroom left to be desired. Water pressure in the sink and shower was pretty bad. The temperature also fluctuated for now apparent reason. The bed was one of the firmiest I’ve ever slept on. Breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room and was quite good. I’d stay here again.
