A great little gem! I arrived in Trollhättan late in the evening and hadn't booked a hotel room for my 2 night stay. I have been to Trollhättan several times in the past but didn't know Hotel Kung Oscar, and boy was I pleasantly surprised! Great staff -- very friendly and helpful! Very cozy and welcoming spaces inside, rooms and dining room both, AND the hotel offers a great breakfast, kaffe fika (traditional Swedish afternoon coffee and cake), and dinner included in the price -- I never stayed at a hotel where you get that kind of service included in the already very reasonable price. I would recommend everyone to go to Trollhättan, visit the Saab museum and explore everything Saab, and when you do stay at Hotel Kung Oscar.

Had a lovely stay in Trollhattan at the Kung Oscar. Staff was excellent and the property was lovely. Close to a beautiful town square with many food, drink, and shopping options, the hotel is a quiet oasis while travelling. Dinner and breakfast were both included and both were excellent.

The hotel was overall very good, quiet and clean. The reception was very welcoming and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Room service was the best. As for the breakfast, it was excellent with many different options. A small remark regarding the dinner: the food was good, but there was always only one main course with one type of meat. I think it is not so good, there should be two different types of meat to suit all tastes.

I arrived by car and there is a 15min drop off just outside. Free parking can be found a few blocks away so no need to pay for parking. Room comfortable and clean with all you need. Wonderful buffet dinner included in the price and just like home cooking! breakfast also good value. Close to the centre and a short drive to the locks.

Central and with a fantastic service. The personell made us feel very welcome and it was like we were "regular guests" even it was our first stay (but not the last). Cozy clean rooms with a extra large comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb and there was free cake in the afternoon and FREE tasty dinner. Highly recommended!!!

I’m very satisfied with the hotel overall. Great location, great staff, good food and clean room/bathroom. There is some room for improvement what concerns serving meals. Since there are few tables, booking a slot for breakfast and dinner would be the best option. There was one dinner I found food but no table to sit and another dinner I found a table to sit, but no food left on the buffet (it took around 30 min to get food).

My choice in the center of the city

Kung Oscar has a nice setup with free meals in the restaurant. I never got to try the meals for different reasons, but it looks really nice. Trollhättan is a small town where one can literally walk anywhere within an hour or so. Perfectly located in the center of town, makes Kung Oscar a good starting point for whatever is planned. It's the hotel I prefer when I come back to the city. The hotell consists of a newer part and an older part (I'm guessing a bit here), with a natural wear and tear accordingly. Thought the hotell is generally in good condition, I have found that a room in the newer section is a little bit cozier.

Gemischte Gefühle, einerseits ein unglaublich entspannendes Hotel mit angenehmem Kaffee und Kuchen und Abendessen. Andererseits konnte man im Zimmer nicht immer gut schlafen, unter anderem wegen Straßen Lärm. Und nicht so komfortablen Bett, Bad twar sehr klein. Abendessen besteht aus Supper, Salat und einem Hauptgericht. Sehr freundlichen Hilfsbereits personal An sich kann man sehr gut im Hotel entspannen. Durch den öffentlichen Bereich., es gibt eine Sauna am Keller. Ich glaube die Erfahrung mit dem Hotel hängt sehr stark. Von der Zimmer Kategorie ab. Und ich hatte kein Glück

Centralt, fast ändå lugnt boende. Fräscht och rent. Personalen är toppen, trevliga och hjälpsamma. Fina rum, bekväm säng (och bra kuddar!). Maten har varit väl tillagad alla måltider. Kommer absolut bo här igen om jag ska övernatta i Trollhättan.
