6/10 Good

The bedroom was quite cold when we arrived. The corridor, even with the open fire escape door, was warmer than our bedroom. I asked at reception about how to make it warmer & was told that the radiators would come on at around 9pm. They didn’t & I had to sit in my coat until getting into bed! You could hear people talking & the TV from other bedrooms. The restaurant staff were pleasant & the food was good for dinner & breakfast.

6/10 Good

This is the third time we visited this hotel as it's in the perfect place in which to visit relatives in Bury. The room was large and at the back there is just fields so nice and quiet. Breakfast was good despite not receiving one of the items I'd asked for in the full English. The down side was that the furniture in the room was a little dirty and drab, nothing that a lick of paint couldn't cure. The bathroom door was also dirty as was the radiator and showerhead. We were only staying the one night so not so important. The bed was comfy and the grounds was nicely maintained.
