I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Rio Queretaro. The location is ideal being right in the middle of the Centro Historico. The staff was also very helpful with my concerns and needs. Finally, the hotel has a very good restaurant.

Great time at the hotel. The staff was amazing, accommodating and friendly. Even helped us plan transportation to nearby San Miguel. Hotel room was clean, and spacious. Hotel was conveniently located near the town square where we spent the day exploring and walking.

Swift check-in & check-out. Friendly helpful front desk staff. Huge room with a/c and perfectly clean. Only negative would be how long it took to get hot water in the shower (in excess of 10 minutes!). Perfect location in the city center. Great places to eat, drink, tours to take. Safe area. Great value!

Location is perfect. Lots of historic sites are within walking distance.
Rooms are simple, down to the minimum. There are no elevators and stairs are a bit narrow. Keep that in mind if you hace difficulty getting around.
Staff is very professional and will assist you in any way they can. Rooms are clean every day.
Nice place.

The only problem we had was at check in when the room they gave us was not what we had paid for(the most expensive room listed). After pointing this out, they showed us two other rooms to pick from. The room and entire hotel was very clean and we had no other problems.

Had a wonderful stay at Rio Hoteles in Querétaro! Everyone was very nice, but particularly Alejandro & Ricardo. My room was clean. It is noisy in the evening and you can hear the bell churches but I really didn’t mind. Ricardo was my Uber driver and took me to all the magic Pueblos around. I even met his Mom, who made me a Calavera Catrina make-up. The Hotel is well located in the Centro and near a beautiful park. I now have a new family in Querétaro!

Too noisy on the rooms of the first floor, no warm water, old rooms.
I reserved a king room and upon arrival told us they didnt have any availability.

Updated property, nice furnishings, central location. Water pressure and delivery of hot water in the shower was not good. My room was clean, lobby was clean, and the common areas were clean. Noise was definitely a problem; situated on a busy andador full of bars and restaurants, busy loud restaurant and bar in hotel, close to churches where fireworks were exploding at all hours, and church bells ringing. Staff was friendly and accomodating. However, I will not stay here again.

It was very noisy with construction and a drunk smashing a bottle at 2:00am in front of door of one of my travelers.
The desk did nothng about it.
