Fantastic guest house where you are greeted with a welcome scotch or sherry. Whilst the room and en-suite were small, they were very well maintained and quaint, we loved it! This was a great stay. We had a 2-bedroom family suite with a sitting area in the master bedroom, and a coffee station/place to leave shoes in our private hall. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was really great- including vegetarian sausages for us that they confirmed when they asked about allergies at check-in.

The hotel has undergone a substantial amount of refurbishment since we last stayed in 2020. We very much enjoyed our King Room with a lovely view of the lake. There is ample parking. We received a great welcome. It's worth noting that the hotel does not offer dining, nor does it have a bar. However you are welcome to bring your own drinks and they provide glasses and ice in the lounge. The breakfasts are good. Just a short stroll into the town centre which has also seen great improvement over the past 6 years. Plenty of places to eat, including a fine dining restaurant. A really nice location.

We really liked Harbour House where we stayed for one night before catching the ferry to Stornoway. Finding the place is easy and there is plenty of parking on site. On arrival we were given a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Our room was spotlessly clean, well maintained and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast next morning was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. If we had known how pleasant Ullapool is, we would have stayed longer!
