The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessities (kettle, tea, coffee, towels, etc). The only issue was intermittent hot water at times. The gardens were beautiful and Rocky the dog was cute! Breakfast was lovely sitting on the lagoon deck. Close to a major supermarket, local market, and busy bus stop. Would definitely stay again.

We had the most enjoyable stay at Lagoon Gardens (Villa Chaumieres). Owners and staff were kind and helpful and we felt like we were welcomed into their own home here. Miriam took us out an an amazing day trip to explore the surrounding hotspots for both tourists and locals. I would highly recommend anyone to book here.

Beautiful garden and waterside location and really friendly staff. Some distance from town, accessible by bus (150vt/ person) but traffic can be slow. Large supermarket and fresh f&v market nearby at Korman. Facilities a bit basic , maybe still just recovering from earthquake damage in Dec.
