Perfect stay in Port Vila. Beautiful gardens, lovely view from the rooms of the lagoon, the owners were really friendly and so helpful, felt right at home. And a great breakfast included to top it off! Would stay again and recommend :)

The lagoon view was gorgeous! I arrived at midnight, do I didn't know what I would see when I woke up. The staff was just awesome ❤️ Even with the time of crisis (series of earth quakes), they went over and beyond all expectations. They became my friends, my overseas family. Everything was very basic. the shower was terrible, not good flow of water. the privacy of bathroom was very much compromised. The mosquito net was just for a baby not for the whole bed. The air conditions unit was only for show. The room TV was not connected with arial antenna and the youtube was not connected. The breakfast was very basic. We suggest the owner was not seriously running the property. Therefore, we left it on 25th of July and expect some money to be refunded to us. The owner also agreed for refund if you allow them. The eating area is beautiful, peaceful and fresh. In spite of the cyclone effects the property was functioning well. But dinner was missing. Hot water was limited, basically shower with cold water. In general, i enjoyed and felt comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Nice spot to base yourself to explore Efate! The included breakfast was really tasty (toast, fruit, coffee and eggs or pancakes for our two days). It was good to learn that you can use their kitchen to prepare your own meals as there is no restaurant on site. There is a supermarket and more accommodation serving meals within walking distance. Our room was above the reception, so there was a bit of noise from downstairs as we sat on the balcony at night time, but couldn't hear it once inside the room with the door shut.

We arrived in the dark and spent 10 minutes trying to find reception. Lighting was poor and we needed to turn on phone torches to see. We arrived around 7 pm to find they had no restaurant, however they did ring the resort next door and we walked up there for dinner. We only had one night so probably hard to rate the rest. Staff were helpful and rooms were well appointed as far as what they had in them.

Beautiful setting & amazing hosts

Lagoon Gardens is by far the best place to stay in Port Vila. The lush gardens right on the lagoon create a peaceful and unique atmosphere. Morgan, Yvette, and the entire team were incredibly kind and always happy to help, whether it was booking tours or assisting with anything else we needed. The facilities are excellent: there’s a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor BBQ area, and free kayaks so you can explore the lagoon anytime you like. They also provide snorkeling gear, which you can take with you on your beach trips. We’d definitely come back without hesitation! It felt like home.

I had an amazing stay at the Lagoon Gardens. The owner and workers were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were beautiful. I was able to go kayaking on the lagoon and the location was perfect to walk to the market and into town.

We were quite disappointed with our experience. When we arrived, the towels provided were visibly dirty, which was not a great first impression. The hot water wasn’t working when we checked in, although they did attempt to fix it, to no avail. We also didn’t have the air-conditioning remote on our first night, which made the room uncomfortable. When we finally received it the next day, the air-conditioning still didn’t work properly. While staff were polite, the overall maintenance and attention to detail were lacking. With a bit more care and responsiveness, the experience could be much better for future guests.

Hotel looks nothing like it’s advertised. It’s tired, untidy & limited services. Terms said they allowed changes (forfeiting one night stay - which is fair) but hotel refused refund remaining days of stay (moved to hotel next door). Expedia were not much better and did not meet the advertised terms but in the end gave us a small refund. Do not recommend as terms are not kept by either hotel or Expedia

L’endroit est charmant mais n’est pas fidèle aux photos de l’annonce. En effet l’endroit semble avoir été abîmé par le temps depuis la prise des photos. Par ailleurs, la propreté est à revoir, nous avons trouvé des draps sales à notre arrivée, des poils et cheveux un peu partout. Cependant après notre sollicitation le personnel a nettoyé la chambre.
