I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. Staircase was a little narrow, but this is common in Japan and not a fault of the owner. There was only one toilet, which worked fine for our family of 4. Location was fabulous - easily walkable to Nara Park and the train station, and right on a busy walking street full of shopping and food, yet still quiet enough to rest at night. My only complaint is that we did not spend long enough there! We hope to get another chance next time we are in Nara.
