I wanted to enjoy this hotel more. The pool view is what I enjoyed. However, there were not enough chairs to accommodate the guests and we had to sit on the uncomfortable wall. The keys continuously did not work for the elevator. When asking for help, it wasnt the easiest. On my last night stay, the housekeeper forgot to give me a bathmat. Having a restaurant on the location was ideal but I did not enjoy my meal. Again I wanted to love this place because it’s newer but it didnt meet my expectations

First time here, I believe the hotel only opened at the start of 2026. The hotel itself is very nice, all very modern and nice looking. Rooms aren’t huge but all clean :) My key stopped working and you have to use your key to use the lifts so I was stuck on floor 19…I walked down the stairs…to find you need a key to access the reception floor so I went back up to the gym and asked a randomer to press the lift to 0 for me. The view from my room was spectacular, I could see all sights…go to the rooftop pool, the view is UNBELIEVABLE Theres also a local Lidl, it’s huge so go in there! There is a few building sites around but that’s because they’re building loads of new hotels in the area…you don’t hear ANY noise. It is a 30 min drive from the Sagrada/Barceloneta beach, but an uber was €15 so that was fine! Really recommend this hotel! There is a restaurant in the hotel, it’s nice but I’d recommend going into the city centre. Overall 9/10! Just got stuck with my key not working and the door to the stairs on my side of the building on floor 19 wouldn’t open!!!!!!!

Hotel was nice enough. However at 5am another guest starts shouting in the corridor and banging on other guests doors, including mine, waking everyone up. This went on for 30 mins. It then went quiet for around 45 mins and then it started again for a further 15 mins. The hotel should have removed the guest as it woke absolutely every guest on that floor.

My wife ordered room service. She waited, no food. She walked down to lobby, no phone in room, and the food was waiting there. No one told her that she had to pick it up. Room service I guess doesn’t mean service to your room. It was cold by then. After checking out we discovered that the hotel charged her credit card for the room even though we had paid in advance through Expedia. Sent several messages to the hotel but they will not respond. Is this typical in Spain or is this just a horrible hotel. I would not recommend staying there.

Very new construction with good public spacing and co-working areas However, details like sheets were too big for the mattresses, very little, low quality toilet paper. But the worst of the worst was the terrible service provided at reception. Permanently short staffed, careless, lacking communication between then and anyone talking accountability for their mistakes. And language barrier can't be blame in this case. It was just horrible customer experience. I won't come back ever again

Es la segunda vez que voy, la primera vez la experiencia fue muy buena pero en esta no. Al acostarme vi una hormiga en la cama y no le di importancia pero por la noche tuve 2 o 3. De día había más hormigas en el el suelo. La habitación era la misma que la otra vez entonces no sé si tendrían alguna problema ya que la primera vez que fui hace un mes no vi ninguna.

We recently stayed at **Aparto Diagonal Suites** in Barcelona for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and offers spacious suites with a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and utensils, making it ideal for preparing simple meals. Our 18th-floor balcony provided spectacular panoramic views, especially at night. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Having a Lidl supermarket just a five-minute walk away was another major convenience. There were a few drawbacks. The bathroom was quite small, and the hardwood headboard was easy to bump into. The hotel is also some distance from downtown Barcelona, so we relied on Uber, spending about $60–70 USD per day on transportation. There is no complimentary breakfast, and the high-tech elevator system can be a little confusing at first. Despite these minor inconveniences, the excellent staff, modern accommodations, and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay. **Would we stay here again? Absolutely.**
