Gino (I hope I’m spelling his name correctly) made you feel like home, he was very attentive and friendly. The room is very comfortable and spacious. It’s overall quiet and restful. The area around the property, and the town as a whole might disquiet some, it’s more the “real” Italy than the manicured tourist towns some expect. Visit for the Roman ruins, the volcano, and the food. The beach needs a lot of improvements to be a tourist pull.

Äußerlich nicht besonders attraktiv, aber die Wohnung und die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr schön. Das Frühstück war liebevoll gestaltet und mehr als ausreichend, es gab sogar süditalienische Leckereien. Im Zimmer haben uns eigentlich nur ein paar Haken oder Ablagemöglichkeiten gefehlt. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett mit sehr harter Matratze und ein Einzelbett mit eher durchgelegener. Das Zimmer wurde etwas unregelmäßig etwa alles 2-3 Tage gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt oder Betten gemacht, es war aber auch Ostern und es ist kein Hotel. Ich nehme an, die Zimmermädchen feiern eben auch. Der Mann vom Frühstück ist top, Kommunikation über Whatsapp klappte sehr gut.
