Absolutely beautiful. The property is located steps from the Halifax Harbour boardwalk. The Wired Monk Cafe on the corner was hosting a Muppet treasure Island singalong! I would definitely stay again.

Great location! Confusion re entry. No staff on site. Confusion re parking. Thankfully another guest saw us outside his window as we gestured and went back & forth between parking and the front entrance. He said “I went through this yesterday “ So we were grateful to have someone ( a guest) hold our hand. Maintenance/cleaning staff WHEN on site Very Helpful. Texts to managers/owners answered in good time. If you have mobility issues, this is not the place. Great location to the harbour and all it has to offer Wendy

Arrival information was good and the property was clean. Unfortunately the pictures were very misleading. Our “Library Room” has a small bookshelf half full of books. The room wasn’t much larger than the Queen bed. A very loud air conditioner which vented out the window was positioned directly beside the bed. The bathroom was an appropriate size but the exhaust fan didn’t function.

Very friendly hosts. Comfy bed. Modern upgrade in vintage skin. I’m really tall and l would not book again in a 3rd floor dormer with a slanted roof. Parking was a real challenge. Once l had help figuring it out there were 3 options; two were very tight squeezes: the lot a block by away much better as being tall is a challenge in tight parking spaces. But l do prefer locally owned vintage spaces when l can stay by at them. No amenities; view was the parking lot.

This was a wonderful stay! The owners are incredibly helpful and fast to respond. They have created a beautiful space in a convenient location of Halifax. It was so easy to walk around the town and I always felt safe! They also created a website with recommendations, suggestions and information which was so incredibly helpful! We tried a few spots they recommended and they were great. I highly recommend this place to everyone! If we come back to Halifax we will stay here again!!!!
