Wow effect when we step into the hotel. The design of hotel is artistic feel and put us into vacation mood immediately. The room is very roomy. The buIlt-in USB C charge ports says the designers are modern. It is located near cool restaurants and bars and shops, and walking distance to all tourist spots. We will come back.

The staff and bartender is amazing, place is meticulously clean since it’s brand new, but my only complaint is, you can hear every little noise from the toilet in the room, the layout of the room is not smart, the toilet is behind where tje beds are so all the noise is heard when lying in bed. I am glad I wasn’t traveling with my boyfriend. LOL

This a 10/10 hotel, that’s truly a boutique upscale hotel. The staff is extremely helpful. They have us early check in and late check out and recommended great restaurants. The room is amazing, clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The shower and bed are 5 stars. Loved our stay and we will definitely come back

We had a wonderful stay and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, an eight-block area around the hotel had lost power majority of the day. The team handled the situation amazing hospitality despite not being able to control the power situation: they treated us to a tlayuda (like a Mexican pizza and quesadilla combined) and welcome drink, carried our bags upstairs, and the bar manager even arranged a mezcal tasting. The hotel itself was spotless, fresh, and updated. I loved the colors and decor in the rooms. The staff spoke English, and they were patient and friendly when we tried out our Spanish. They also arranged taxis whenever we asked and shared helpful recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The location is excellent, just about a five-minute walk from the city center, with plenty nearby. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have a few more toiletry amenities in the room, such as a shower cap, toothpaste and cotton swabs. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Luuna de Jade to friends. The team made a challenging arrival feel welcoming, and the hotel was a lovely place to stay.

Lovely stay at Luuna de Jade! The staff was super helpful and attentive, the room was spacious and yes, the water pressure from the shower was amazingly strong. The bar, Mantis, has very delicious cocktails; note, though, that the sounds from the bar can carry over to the rooms due to the way the building is configured, but the bar closes around 11 so it shouldn’t be an issue for a quiet night’s sleep. In fact, the neighborhood is perfectly located on a quiet street while being in the gorgeous and lively Centro neighborhood. You’re a stone’s throw away from amazing coffee shops, restaurants, street tacos, and a convenience store around the corner.

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent. Especially since it's close to the central area... It was a great location to rest a little with the kids after lunch and then go sightseeing again in the afternoon. Be sure to try Welcome House Mix at Mantis Bar. You will fall deeply in love with mezcal's charm. It's hard to go on a date when traveling with children, but it's a great place for couples to have cocktails for a while. The taco place next to the hotel is also so delicious as a late-night snack.

This is a new hotel that opened on Oct 31st, 2025. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We had an issue with the AC and it was resolved very quickly. We got a room with 2 queen-size beds. The room was large and spotless. The hotel was also in a very good location within walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. The Martis bar in the hotel was just the right size and served excellent food and drinks. Definitely will stay here again for our future visits to Oaxaca.

The hotel is not quite ready to be considered five star. It’s new, but lacking are communal lounge, patio, and reception. The value can be realized by limiting bar noise, providing comfortable chairs in room, and providing a social setting outside of the bar/breakfast service.

This is a special place. So much heart and passion went into the design and overall atmosphere. Staff is excellent and polite. I travel often and this is honestly one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Congrats to Luuna de Jade!
