The room was very clean even though the outside of the building looked old and worn- sort of an industrial area due to the construction. The pool was refreshing and our grandson’s loved it. Unfortunately the power went out at about 8 am - so breakfast was a bust- and it was extremely hot and humid that day. Power was off city wide- but staff was apologetic and kinda everyone hurried their exits. (No central air so the hallways were like saunas)

Toilet leaks at the floor, door seal doesn’t work so there’s a constant wind whistle through the gaps. Couple of ants around the room. Room had an old smell to it, and water damage in the bathroom and main room ceiling tiles. Nice Indian restaurant on site but the pool was getting repaired and was not available for use. Had hoped for a bit nicer based on pictures and had considered staying here on our trip back from Calgary but we will be staying elsewhere.

The room was mostly clean. The walls in the bathroom could use a wipe down as there was drip marks from the shower. No fan in the bathroom so condensation is a problem. It is an old building in need of some upgrading. The pool was great, the staff were very helpful. The main problem was no TV or internet. We are used to a firm bed so the soft mattress was uncomfortable. Having a restaurant in the hotel is convenient. There was no one at the desk when we signed out. For the price, it was OK.
