We loved this hotel! I definitely will be staying here again on my next trip to Switzerland. We rented an EV car and you’re able to charge it during your stay. Even though it was a bit further from the hiking activities we did, having the car and driving to them worked out perfectly for us. The staff was friendly, attentive and willing to share any tips and tricks to help us during our visit. House keeping came in and everyday. We had lunch at the restaurant as well and it was delicious! The breakfast got us going before our daily activities. 10/10 best hotel to stay.

It was basic but 'OK'. This was probably the 'worst' hotel we stayed in during our nine-day road trip. It was also the only hotel where we had a shared bathroom. That said, it's not the hotel's fault as it is in the description – I just wasn't expecting a hotel with shared bathrooms (not stayed in such a hotel for nearly 20 years). The room itself had a sink, a small window, a light and twin beds – basic but sufficient (just) and looked nothing like the photos on the profile. Due to the single overhead light, it looked very dingy in the early evening. The quality of food on offer was… 'OK' – nothing to write home about and we did not get food poisoning but there were a LOT of flies in the dining area (which is probably beyond the hotel's control). That said, the single biggest plus about the hotel is its location if going to the Grimsel, Furka, Susten, Gotthard passes. That alone offsets all the other negatives. Having parking available is the second plus point.

Worst hospitality experience in Switzerland. An extremely cold welcome, making you feel like you are not wanted and disturbing. Same goes for the restaurant manager. This makes the whole stay and anything positive overpowered by this atmosphere. It is a shame since Guttannen is a magnificent village.

Das Zimmer war zu klein. Es ist direkt in der Nähe von viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Parkplätze vorhanden und es gibt noch eine kleine Market in der Nähe,die immer jeder Zeit offen ist. Das Frühstück war gar nicht gut. Alles war offen und unhygienisch mit eingeladene Fliege. Keine Aufzug vorhanden. Ansonsten für eine Nacht ohne Frühstück kann ich empfehlen,wer normale Erwartungen hat.
