We chose this hotel, for a quick overnight stay and because it was pet friendly. It was ok in a real pinch...but in general the hotel has seen better days, you could tell it needed a lot of repairs, elevator was out or order, the room had a strange smell and it was very bare bones. Would have been challenging to manage more than a night here.

It’s a fairly nice building, the location is convenient for me, and the price is relatively low. They don’t clean the carpets, surfaces, or linens well but at least I haven’t found cockroaches or bedbugs, and the bathroom was acceptably clean. They are skimpy on the linens, soaps etc and the only coffee available was two bags of decaf but no way to prepare it. If you have business in it around Watertown, are mainly interested in a cheap bed, and don’t mind some hair and crumbs then this is the place for you.

Very helpful staff. They are renovating some areas, but there is no construction debris lying around like you usually see with hotel renovations. Room was clean. Everything was in good working condition. Lots of hot water. Extra blanket in the closet if needed, which is rare these days. There were decent toiletries in the bathroom, which was nice since I left mine in the car & didn't feel like going back out. I do like that the place is pet-friendly for folks traveling with a pet, but the only downside was there was a dog in a nearby room that barked for about 10 minutes straight late at night & woke us up. We will stay again when in the area.

I see Travel Inn as a work in process. I have stated at the property when it was part of the Wyndham group and all was better for not much more money. I believe the staff when they tell me it will be about a year before they finish all the renovations since the change in ownership. If you want a cheap, clean place to stay, the Travel Inn is good enough. There is NO lobby coffee, NO breakfast of any kind (worse than during COVID). The wifi could be much better. I was not getting satisfactory bandwidth, and I was told the hotel was full, which put a strain on the wifi. I responded that they should use some of the revenue from a full hotel and upgrade their Spectrum service pkg. I enjoyed the outdoor pool on previous stays, but now the pool is shut down until summer 2027 The beds and Air Conditioning are fine; Some bathrooms have been updated; others are in process. I like to watch FOX NEWS and the channel clearly indicated as Fox News was showing Fox Sports -- That might be a problem with Spectrum and their admin. I have definitely stayed in worse places, and it is hard to find a decent alternative in Watertown for a low price. Just set your expectations low and plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.

This hotel is clearly an older facility. The entrance doors are not automatic, which can make it difficult to get luggage through the door. The building has 2 floors, and the elevator is out of order. If you have difficulty with stairs, you would need to ask for a first-floor room. The hotel once offered breakfast (you can see the space and equipment) but it does no longer. Desk personnel are not present when you enter, and you must ring for help. This means the front entrance is not at all secure. The back door no longer closes and locks, so this door is also not secure. The hotel is pet-friendly and welcomes both dogs and cats. The bed was comfortable and the room was reasonably clean, but the carpets were old and frayed. There was considerable mold in the bathtub enclosure, and the laundry facilities had broken down so there was a delay in getting clean towels (they had been sent out to be laundered). Although the hotel was quiet, the police had been called to the hotel the morning I checked out. My concerns caused me (belatedly) to read customer reviews. I wish I had read them before I booked. The hotel was recommended for "solo travelers." I think this must be code for "less discriminating customers."

I was at Travel Inn 2 yrs ago when Continental breakfast was offered. This time I was told coffee machine in room I had no coffee cups. First, arriving in the parking lot I noticed 3 dead pigeons ☹️ Checking in, the receptionist told me its their last doubled bed room and we have to push hard to open. I said to myself, it shouldn't be so bad so I took the room. What a mistake. The inside door frame was missing. Not so sure about security. The room was smelling smoke and humidity. I've asked to change room but none was available. Only suites were available which I would have to pay an upgrade. Judging by the quality of the place I wouldn't spend a penny. Also we could hear the toilet flushing in the other rooms. I don't recommend this place. My worst experience ever.

This place is disgusting. There is brown liquid literally dripping down the walls in the lobby. Elevator was out of service, it reeked of cigarettes and marijuana, the room was filthy and had stains on the comforter and looked like someone had been laying on it, there was black hair all over the bathroom, rust, and dirt. There were also very sketchy people clearly living in the hotel. We left immediately and were denied a refund.

The room was relatively clean except for the stains on the sheets and the leftover soap with hair on it that was from previous Visitors and leftover shampoo. It was gross.. There was no hot water. I left the water run for 6 minutes and it only got Luke warm.. so no shower for me. I left at approximately 7am rang the bell for service but no one showed up so I left.

Would not recommend, I stayed here previously and things were fine. But this time was not good. Went to take a shower and the water started out brown, then it never got hot. Ran out of toilet paper and there wasn't any new roll. The room was questionably clean, and the fitted sheet was on upside down which made me wonder if it was clean or just flipped. And the remote for the TV didn't work. I chose not to stay for breakfast, which didn't even look good, because I don't want to eat somewhere that had brown water. Staff never appeared in the morning when I wanted to talk to someone about what my room was like. And before it's asked, I had a toddler who had already fallen asleep, so as to not wake him I chose not to change rooms or hotels for the night.

We were given the excuse that management had just changed over. Had to go to the front desk several times, which was never attended. I had called from the room but nobody answered. Even after ringing the bell, took quite a while for someone to show up. One visit to the desk was because we ran out of tp and were only there 1 night. There was no extra roll in the room. Another was because TV didn't work, just fuzz. Given a vague explanation of how it worked but were only able to get one channel to work. Stay clear.
