Great Hotel, in a good position in Builth Wells with parking. Staff were all brilliant and both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a last minute booking and a great choice, amazing location with a great view! On site parking, very helpful and friendly staff and comfortable room. A good night’s sleep despite the proximity to the main road.

Excellent recenty refurbished hotelnwith all the facilities you need and high cleanliness. The bar is a beautiful piece of work and well stocked with local beers and spirits along with the regular favourites. The staff were lovely and obviously care about being excellent service providers. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

We had problems with our dog. It demanded my wife sleep in the car with the dog. The staff were excellent and genuinely concerned. They provided food and a hot drink later in the evening for her without prompting. The restaurant food was one of the most tasty meals I have had in years. Excellent room and restaurant service.

Our stay was really nice. The staff were so friendly. Breakfast was excellent but they are awaiting a chef so had to go out for meals. Our room was lovely and clean as was the lovely bathroom towels. The only thing wrong was no mirror in the room(only bathroom). Also the shower was a little on the small size as we are elderly(80) so was a bit difficult in/out but we managed. Parking was also good so thank you to The Lion Hotel for a lovely 3 night stay.

Good hotel. Nice clean rooms, with windows that open properly! Very helpful staff. Car park is quite tight, but there is a big public one a couple hundred meters away. Online check-in seems unnecessary and causes a bit of confusion.

We did enjoy the stay although there was a lot of upgrading work going on at the time. We wish them every success going forward.

Booked last minute, location fantastic, central with parking. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Owner Helen took the time to tell us about the building and all the renovations that have been done and ongoing. The public areas are beautiful, mix of old and new, really suits the place itself, all the staff were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat out. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a visit. We look forward to a very warm welcome in the future. 😊
