The room was overall clean.The staff were helpful.The best thing was that the property has its own parking. Overall the stay was comfortable.The stay was worth the money I spent for two nights.There are porcelain cups and bowls with few spoons.But you may carry plates if you wish to eat something.It would have been much better if they had repaired the wall mounted heaters to warm the room because the weather was cold.Instead there was the portable heater which took much time to heat up the room.Overallit was good.

Very good stay with all the basic necessary amenities available. I stayed here with my brother, we came to Wales to hike Pen-y-fan and were looking for a place to crash for the night. The receptionist was lovely, beds and sheets were clean. Toilet and bathroom was very clean. It had body wash and shampoo. Kitchen has coffee and a toaster. The place has parking which is a big plus. Overall a very good experience for what we have paid. Recommend it if you are looking for a shot stay.

Was pleasantly surprised with the room upon arriving very nice and ideal for one night stay. The cleanliness was poor in the bathroom and window ledges also the cups were stained. The internet was not very good and the shower was tepid even on full heat. I also found accessing the key to be very complicated and never received the code to get the key after a long day travelling this wasn’t helpful.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. I was looking for a budget option for one night and chose one of the cheaper offers without having high expectations, but I have to admit that this place exceeded them in a very positive way. The room was clean and comfortable. The room also had a refrigerator stocked with fresh milk and bottled water, as well as a basket with snacks and oatmeal. There was also a microwave and an electric kettle, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was very nice as well, although the shower head could use some maintenance, as quite a lot of water leaks from the hose. I would definitely stay here again. The only downside is that if you want to get a mobile phone signal, you need to go outside to the parking lot.

My only issue with the property was the check-in. I arrived to find a lockbox for my room key, but I had not been sent the code (This was 6.35pm, I'd booked at 2pm). No problem I think as the sign on the door said reception was "available 6pm to 10pm", except it wasn't! Called the help number three times before someone eventually answered and was able to give me my code (an email for which eventually arrived at 21.49!). Once in the room I was impressed with the refreshments and facilities (fridge/microwave as well as the usual kettle) Nice shower, lots of towels although they felt slightly damp - suspect they'd been folder before completely dry after laundry. I hate self check-in, and would not have booked this property had I realised, but all that said it was fine for an overnight stay.

The hotel was attached to a pub. The doors to the rooms have glass panels as the rooms are little out houses. Last night there was a kids disco so the kids were running around the rooms waking everyone until 1:30 in the morning and as the kids ran around the security lights came on lighting the room us as there are no curtains or blinds on the doors. There was an argument at 3 oclock so once again the lights came on. Some idiot kid tried to get into the room. Horrendous, never ever fo there.

The check-in process was not explained to us. We needed a room number and a code before arriving but this was not given. There were no staff on site and we had to call someone. The picture provided of the hotel barely matches the building there today. There was no option to pay at the 'hotel' so I had to pay through a link which was simultaneously advised to do and not to do by OYO. Confusing and irritating. The room smelled like wet dog, the window was stuck open due to misaligned installation. There were stains on the bedding and I woke up with a rash on my face (I am allergic to fur so the only reasonable explanation I can muster is the wet dog smell came from fur which subsequently irritated my face) the radiator was warm at the bottom and not the top so needs apparent bleeding should the room be actually looked after.

Room number 2 was HORRENDOUS. There was animal/pet fur everwhere, the heater was not working, the kettle was not working, and there was shower leakage. Overall we were not satisfied.

Be very careful booking here. The downstairs of the property is like an unused abandoned building and very dated. Staircase feels you are going to somewhere you shouldn't. Bedrooms with paper thin walls gives you a very uneasy and insecure feeling. Not the place to book with a young family, and will not be staying again. Our booking was not correct and we only realised when we arrived we had been split over 2 rooms (we originally booked a family room of 5). No one on the desk at reception so had to wait to call later to discuss our booking. When we were told the reason was an electrical fault and they couldn't update us as our information was private because we booked by a third party and not direct. This is ludicrous as they could have contacted Hotels.com or messaged us through there. We then advised a bed is missing as only been made up 4 beds and their response... go to the cellar and get a campebed!!! It was late and luckily we had our own airbed to use as we had been camping earlier in the week but we couldn't wait to leave the next day. The bedding and floor in the room appeared clean but didn't want to use their towels or over facilities. We told Hotels.com via an online agent we are not staying an extra night as one of us shouldn't be sleeping on the floor and we paid for 5 beds. It is still even now being disputed for a refund and feel we have been massively let down by Hotels.com and the venue. We as a family can handle basic accommodation but this was a joke!

The property advertised boasted “You can relax with a drink at the bar/lounge, and the restaurant is the perfect spot to grab a bite to eat. Other highlights include a snack bar/deli and a garden” Not correct! I was lone travelling female and my preference is to book accommodation that has facilities on site for my security. Incorrectly marketed a private bathroom - which was in fact a shared bathroom at the end of corridor. No fire escape upstairs, no fire extinguishers, no fire notices, very much still a building site still requiring work. Although a very basic room, the bedding and was towels were very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a standing fan for hot weather and an oil heater for cold weather

The room was full of mosquitos and we found red bugs, which the missus found out were bed bugs. Electric went out all day every day and there was no hot water in the sink. The internet wasn’t posted and when we asked we got given details of one that went off after an hour and then we had to go into the lobby to get the other network details. Finally a woman knocked on the room loudly and late and woke the kids after a day on the mountains. About the only good thing was the shower worked even though all the lights were out. Absolutely terrible stay

Terrible experience on arrival no one was at the front desk. Tried ringing the telephone number. I wish only gets used to a Call Center. They were interested stuck around for nearly 2 hours and still no access to the room as Front desk was not banned. Center not interested in helping anyway whatsoever would definitely not go back.

Unacceptable hygiene standards The room was completely unhygienic. I found dozens of bugs crawling all over the bed and could not sleep at all. I would not recommend staying here.

It's basic and mostly functional. Initially I couldn't get in as I couldn't access the app and there were no staff around. I got hold of someone on the phone though, and they were very helpful. I wasn't expecting a shared bathroom (although it is there in the small print if you look hard). There was only one spoon in the kitchen (shared between at least 6 rooms), and snacks were very sparse. Having said that, I slept well and the location is great, so if you go prepared, it's a good and economic option.
