It was a really lovely hotel. The street is charming and you can do lots of shopping for souvenirs, the self check-in was easy, everything is really new and clean, the TV streaming worked well and the wi-fi signal was good, I definitely recommend this place!

Loved our stay at strand hotel. We were in Iceland for 10 days and this was the most comfortable stay we had during our whole trip. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms are really good size as well. Only thing is during summer it can get hot despite the temperature control in the room. We kept the door ajar in the balcony and that helped the room cool down. Parking is conveniently located across the street if you come after 6 or 2 min walk to the mall. Beautiful area to stay.

The room was perfectly maintained, and the area is nice and quiet. It's also very convenient because there's a mini-mall right next door with a coffee shop, pharmacy, and convenience store. Parking wasn't a concern at all either, as they have plenty of spaces available. And on top of that, the customer support team was excellent—always quick to reply and very helpful.

The password of the main entrance provided in the message was incorrect that causing us panic when we arrived. We had to call to staff and they would provide help immediately. Apart from that, the room is really spacious and clean. It is really family friendly.

I stayed at the hotel for 12 days because of a work trip. I asked if the room could be cleaned at least once halfway through my stay, but I was told that this would cost extra. I then asked for some cleaning supplies so I could clean the room myself, but I was only given two cloths, with no cleaning products or vacuum cleaner. I also asked for the missing frying pan, but it never arrived. The dishwasher tablets ran out after about a week, and there was no clear information about what to do with the garbage. It also would have been nice if the garbage could have been taken out when the two cleaning cloths were delivered. Other than that, the room itself was very nice, modern, and comfortable. However, I honestly expected a bit more from a hotel in this price range, especially for such a long stay.
