Out of the ordinary friendly staff, from receptionists to bar people, very warm atmosphere. Nice rooms and bathrooms. Really good food (and cocktails) in restaurant. The breakfast was however very disappointing, it lacked quality, diversity and trays were offen empty, and breakfast staff was more interested in talking with guests than his job. It is kinda mind boggling how such a nice hotel with such a great restaurant can have such a bad breakfast. By far the worst of our trip, and it means that we won't be coming back to that place, too bad.

The hotel is superbly decorated , super clean and in excellent location. Staff is very very friendly. All this said, the breakfast, although diverse and rich, is not the best and the tastiest. It certainly is not the same level as the rest of the hotel. Personally I would like to have coffee/ tea facilities on the room which the hotel does not have

Super great hotel. First we got wrong room and after we discussed with the lobby we got the room we wanted. Later we ask tor tips of restaurants and got two good ones, were we pick one of them. The women in the lobby was really great and service minded. She understood how she should handle the customers.

We never got to use this hotel due to an error in date of arrival. The booking was made a week in advance and by arrival we discovered the error - imagine our surprise and regret. But the hotel staff at Crimea was amazing - they called another hotel in the city and arranged an emergency re-booking for us with no extra expense on our part, so that we had a place to stay for the night in Chiavenna. Even if we didn't use this hotel, the staff alone at Crimea, made the whole experience so lovely. The next morning there was a local market with many lovely things. It was a great way to finish a stay in this lovely city, and buy some fruit for the next part of our trip. As the market occupies the large parking area in the city center, you cannot park here on Friday evenings. (they will remove your car if you do). There are other places to park in around the city, but you might have to walk a bit further to get to the hotel.

Es ist ein schönes Hotel, sehr sauber, das an sich moderne Bad hatte ein altes, leider defektes Dachfenster, das man nicht mehr öffnen konnte. Es hat eine gemütliche Bar unten zum draussen sitzen. Leider war die Nacht sehr laut bis um 3 Uhr. Die Klimaanlage war auch sehr laut und sehr kompliziert in der Bedienung, eine Gebrauchsanweisung war nicht vorhanden.
