8/10 Very good

Kings Cross Hotel

I had a great stay at Kings Cross Hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well maintained.

8/10 Very good

Would stay again

Friendly staff on check in great location. Perfect for early Eurostar at St Pancras the next morning

4/10 Fair

It was filthy dirty, holes in walls and doors The only good thing was the distance to St Pancras station

Cold room

It was cold and we told them to turn on the heater but they didn’t, we were 3 and need 3 individual beds which they didn’t have

All good , and good value for money , very good location
Rob, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Long weekend in London.

Well located hotel just a 5 minute stroll from Kings Cross / St Pancras, with very helpful staff. The rooms are very small and the shower rooms are tiny - just enough room to turn around. The staircases are steep so if you are mobility restricted then not for you. The rooms could do with a refit but it's OK for a night or 2.
Nichola, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

It decent for a one night stay if you come from a long train ride.
Peter, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Conveniently located near the train station.
Charity, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Look for cheap options somewhere else

As we needed hotel for a few hours only, we knew that we are going to book something which might not be even close to adequate, and this hotel did not disappoint us - mouldy walls and bedding, window wouldn’t shut. I was scared to switch light off in case something will start crawling out from corners. The best thing of it - was leaving. Person who checked as in was nice though.
At first it doesn’t look as bed

Wendy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

A couple of days to start the holiday

The location was awesome as I was going to the British Museum and then taking the Eurostar at St Pancras. The room was small but expected the bathroom was good with good water pressure. The staff were excellent and friendly. I recommend it.
David, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Location excellent but room was too small and very stuffy
Robbie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Reception staff is friendly !

4/10 Fair

Avoid the top floor.

My first room (14) had a really nasty smell, it seemed to come from the bathroom. There was also water damage to the ceiling. Lots of nasty stains on the bed linen. After my first night I was moved to another room (13), here there was a really bad leakage from the bathroom ceiling. Someone had tried to ”fix” it by applying duct tape. Of course that’s not how you repair a leaking roof, both rooms were on the top floor.
Anders, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Great welcome from staff, basic room - just what I ordered. Great location

Room was tiny should never be a double, put case on shelf high up and it ended up covered in dust. Staff helpful and polite. Property in need of upgrade as looks tired. Have stayed in similar priced properties locally which were far better.
TRACY, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Water Pressure

the hotel is average as a bedsit, budget hotel, very basic accomadation, no fan or A/C. No water pressure so showering was not an option, this was on the 3rd floor.
James, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The room was clean. The receptionist took our bags up to our room on the top floor. It was easy access from St Pancras and Kings Cross. The room and en suite were small with a broken shower screen. Good for an overnight, but not great for a longer period. I should add that we do normally try to book "Very Good" or "Excellent" properties, but this suited our travel arrangements.
