This hotel was a really great and amazing stay. The room was clean and very modern with all the amenities you could need plus some extra luxuries such as a bottle of Prosecco! The staff were there to ensure we had a smooth check in and were really friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and the hotel is very close to many restaurants and bars so it is a nice and lively area, perfect for people travelling and looking for a good time!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Hauptsächlich haben wir das Zimmer zum Schlafen und Frühstücken genutzt, dafür hat es voll und ganz gereicht. Der Weg zum Bahnhof dauert auch nur 10 Minuten, was sehr praktisch ist. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite findet man viele Restaurants und Bars. Schade ist nur, dass man keine Parkplätze seitens des Hotels hat. Wir würden dieses Zimmer nochmal buchen wenn wir in die Niederlanden wollen!

암스테르담에서 너무 멀었고 잔담역에서도 도보 15분 정도 걸었던 것 같아요. 잔담을 여행하기엔 좋은 숙소이지만 암스테르담을 집중 여행하기 위한 여행자에게는 그다지 좋은 선택지는 아닌 것 같아서 별 하나 뺐어요. 셀프 체크인 체크아웃은 놀라웠어요 한 명의 직원도 만나지 못했는데 가끔 옆방 분이 번호키 누를때 두근 두근 하긴 했어요. 복도 소리가 너무 잘 들렸거든요. 방음은 잘 되는 것 같지만 복도에서는 아니에요. 후라이팬이 없어서 아쉬웠어요. 시설은 정말 좋았고 특히 침대는 정말 편했어요. 잘 쉬다 갑니다. 고맙습니다

I think, this is one of my favorite hotels now. It is located in a renovated historic building right in the center. Self-check-in was very easy and worked great. I did arrive a bit early, but was assisted with the room that was ready at that point. Room was very clean and comfortable. Various teas a thoughtful touch. Just be mindful, that the building is elevator-free, and the staircase ilmight be a challenge, if you packed a large suitcase.

Fantastisk ophold, bestemt ikke sidste gang vi kommer her. Dejlig smart robot chat over whats app. Og vigtigst af alt, super rent og fantastisk beliggenhed. Meget centralt. Jeg giver opholdet i det hele taget 4 stjerner og ikke 5. Kun fordi de ikke rengjorde på 3. dag, som de normalt gøre, men fordi vi checker ud dagen efter, synes de åbenbart ikke det var nødvendigt. Med 3 småbørn var det meget nødvendigt. Og det er det eneste negativt jeg har at sige om hotellet.

Clean and easy to find and arrive at from the train station. Convenient for Amsterdam and surrounding area. Code entry worked well after a first initial attempt (remember the #!). Quiet despite being around the corner from a busy area with bars and restaurants. Nearby shops seem to close around 5-6pm, so that area is quieter in the evening and not so good if you are away during the day and want to look around d early evening.

We had a great stay here as a family of 5 in the larger rooms. The place has been recently renovated so everything is new and clean. Comfy beds and a small kitchen area were great. It was also useful for us to have use of a (paid for) washing machine and tumble dryer in a laundry room upstairs. Easy self-check in. Walking distance (approx 10 mins) to Zaandam station then just another 10 mins on the train into Amsterdam Central. Several nice bars and restaurants directly across the road and a large supermarket just nearby. It would have been handy to have some basic user instructions for equipment provided eg air con unit, fans etc as any communication was via a chat bot which wasn’t always very clear or helpful. But overall we had a really great stay and would definitely recommend 😊

직원이 상주하지 않는 셀프 체크인 숙소이지만, 휴대폰 메신저를 통해 신속히 대화할 수 있어 편리했습니다. 방 자체는 그리 크지 않지만, 조리에 필요한 도구들이 주방에 잘 구비되어 있어 간단한 식사 준비를 충분히 할 수 있어 좋았습니다. 그리고 청결도와 인테리어에 신경쓴 것을 느낄 수 있었어요. 마지막으로, 옷장에 두고 온 저와 아이의 옷을 되찾는데 도움을 주셔서 정말 감사합니다! Zenstay 호텔 팀원 모든 분들께 다시 한번 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다!!

The entire experience of staying here was wonderful. Perfectly clean, great amenities, amazing location - so close to the main square of restaurants and bars for Zaandam, without any noise disturbance from that area of a night. During my booking, and in the lead up to our stay, all contact with the hotel staff was exceptionally helpful with fast responses. They even went above and beyond in their customer service when I added an additional night on to our stay, always being friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stay here again when I come back to stay in Zaandam again!

What a fantastic find in Zaandam — we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The hotel is surrounded by excellent options for dinner and drinks, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes it a pleasure just to step outside. A lively shopping street is just a few meters away, and the train station — with easy connections to Amsterdam and other beautiful nearby cities — is conveniently close, making it the perfect base for exploring the region. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the hotel freshly renovated, and it showed in every detail. Everything felt crisp, clean, and thoughtfully put together. Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. And here's something we didn't expect to appreciate as much as we did: the peace of mind that came with staying in Zaandam rather than Amsterdam. As charming as Amsterdam is, it can get overwhelmingly chaotic — so coming back each evening to the calm and ease of Zaandam felt like a genuine relief. All the access, none of the stress. Highly recommended — don't overlook Zaandam as a base for your Dutch adventure.

We had a very good stay at Zenstay in Amsterdam! Even though it is a self check-in property, the property manager personally waited for us and helped us with the check-in process, which was extremely kind and appreciated. The apartment was comfortable and everything went smoothly during our stay. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s about 25–30 minutes from the city center, but overall we had a great experience and enjoyed our time there!
