Property is well situated. A good option for a young traveller who wants to be centrally located, meet people and party. Surprisingly, not a good bang-for-the-buck. The place felt unsafe, the linens were wet, and it was very noisy. I recommend for a young traveller who wants to meet people, but not for someone looking for a peaceful sleep

Jian and Melina were perfect. They made sure my check in, check out and stay was great. They were always pleasant and happy to help. Went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It was easy to meet people and socialize. This hostel also had some of the hottest parties that locals came to. Was a great time overall. Would def come back.

Mostly my complaints are with the incorrect description on hotels.com I had to debate with staff who were not going to allow my daughter (15) to stay with me. While the property prohibits kids, the description did not say that and it shared family friendly amenities. Because I arrived at 11 PM on a Saturday, I couldn't find another place in the area. A lot of party and construction noise. This is a party hostel and the description did not share it. The location was excellent, an honest description and not having to debate with staff at 11 PM at night would be appreciated.

The room was clean but did not have the amenities advertised. No balcony or television. The hot water did not work most of the time. The location was close to plenty of bars and restaurants. I would not recommend staying here for longer than maybe 2 or 3 days. The price of the stay was great and cheap, but that's also probably why the place lacked better amenities. Not too bad for a very short stay. Staff was helpful.

WoW!!!! I never stayed at a Hostel before. It’s my first choice of travel from now on! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. #NoRegrets Check in was a breeze. My room was quiet and clean. Just know you’re in the party zone. So if you want ear plugs. They provide them at the front desk lol. The Hostel has daily FUN activities to keep you busy. There’s a pool table, swimming pool on the roof top and other things to keep you active. I must say, Sarah was extremely laid back and nonchalant at check in. That’s what helped seal the deal. My entire experience was the same energy. Super cool. I’d highly recommend this hidden gem!

Cool spot! Great big 2nd floor lounge (with bar, ping pong, pool, hangout space) which facilitated getting to meet folks. Great rooftop w/ lil' dipping pool. Great location in historic & cool Casco Viejo (hostel is small in middle of "Santana" club area - great if you like nightlife & don't mind surrounding noise). Dorm was kept neat, with strong a/c, & good rules posted. Has big lockers (bring lock). ... And staff were great, esp Gabriel, Yair (?) & Jesse. Thx, Viajeros!

The hostel was average at best. We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. The room and bathroom had a constant damp smell+feel and the shared bathroom was dirty with the sink and shower clogging constantly. The shower temperature and pressure were however, amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Location was okay. For the price we paid I wouldn't be running back.

Pool was closed and did not get a warning. I’m an experienced hostel traveler so noise does not normally phase me but this hostel basically funneled in loud horrible music all night and even when I woke up early for tours. Like I don’t want to hear YMCA and other boomer music at 2am. There’s this courtyard style section that just funnels all the sounds from a rooftop bar into your room with thin walls then they have a frosted window without shades or curtains facing the hallway so your room is never dark. Would not stay here again.

Viajero Panamá is welcoming, and perfectly located. Great staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and lively common areas make it easy to connect with other travelers. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooftop and social spaces really capture the energy of Panama City, and the hostel’s activities make you feel part of a community from day one. If you ever want to sleep do not stay here. The noise from nightclubs is unbearably loud - till sunrise. The room literally shakes all night with the volume. I unexpectedly needed accommodation after being robbed at gunpoint so booked in a bit of a panic. Paid $100 US for a private ensuite room with balcony and sea view which I was not given at check in. Was moved to another room but it did not look like the photos - and def no view. I have stayed in a lot of hostels so have realistic expectations and I do like a night out - but this is next level. The area is also very noisy in general and bit sketchy. The roof top area is lovely and the only saving grace. If you are in Panama to party all night this place would work. If you want to get any sleep it won’t.

Great private room for the price, great staff, amazing group of people you meet on the regular activities & tours, just loses a star as they don't understand volume control or any music genres outside reggaeton. The bar is great and one of the best places in town for a party, but it is full volume from morning to 3am, if you have a room on the fifth and probably also 4th floor no chance of even getting a siesta. I can sleep through anything and the night didn't even bother me as much as the fact you couldn't even go back in the day unless you wanted to be at club level volumes in your room. Just mix up the playlist and have some 15 minute chill periods!
