Lovely little spot to stay, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The room was really nicely decorated and very clean and breakfast was certainly different but not in a bad way. The little hamper is a nice little touch, maybe not to everyone's taste but I found it quite cute and unique. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😊 Great view from our room

Staff really nice. Bargain had no atmosphere and draft beers were disgusting and expensive. Room was at the rear with a nice view. Soundproofing between rooms and downstairs wasn't great. Lots of doors banging closed. The most disappointing was breakfast. They ask you to fill in what you want the night before but then it seems they just give you what they want. Several missing items, milk but no cereal, 1 tiny pot of jam between 2 people, 1 tiny orange juice between 2. Other items incorrect and no one around to get it corrected. Both overnight oats orders were wrong, they were also very liquidy and room temperature so they were left untouched. Pointless offering this type of breakfast if people can't follow a sheet they've made you fill in.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, staff were lovely and let us check in early as we had a wedding. The bed was comfortable, large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Tea, kettle and biscuits provided and breakfast was delivered to our room at a time suitable to us. We would definitely recommend and will return in the future should we need too. Slightly noisy with being on the road but nothing can really be done to help that.

Very reasonable price, decent amount of parking, easy and quick road access to places like Richmond, the room and bathroom were a good size as well as clean, comfy and well equipped. The pub/restaurant itself had a nice, stylish but homey interior with really lovely staff and nice food. The only point to note is that the hotel is off the a66 so although it reduces a lot over night, there is road noise. However the double glazed windows help and for anyone more sensitive to noise, a good pair of foam ear plugs did the trick for me. I would stay again.

The staff at Fox Hall are all AMAZING! So helpful and kind and made our stay feel 5*! The rooms were clean and bright and breakfast was fantastic. Waking up to the beautiful views across Yorkshire was just stunning! A wonderful place to stay!
