My partner and I stayed at this hotel in what appeared to the off season as it was very quiet. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were kind and helpful durning all interactions. There was plenty of options at breakfast and service was great. The on site parking was a welcome change from other hotels in the area. Overall it was a great hotel and I would recommend staying there.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Property was gorgeous and clean. Had multiple options for breakfast. Had a beautiful dining area and an in-house bar. Air conditioner worked very well, and the rooms were quite spacious. Area was very nice as there was much to see and do within walking distance. Would recommend and go again!

We had a pleasant stay at Portaria Hotel. It is a nice hotel in a beautiful location, although some areas would benefit from maintenance and updating. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but despite being one of the more modern rooms, it still felt somewhat dated, particularly the bathroom. Everything was clean, though, and we were comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were generally very nice and friendly, although there was one incident we were not happy about. Halfway through our stay, while we were relaxing in our room, a member of staff knocked to inspect the minibar. My wife answered and opened the door, but he then proceeded into the room to check whether anything had been used. We found this quite intrusive and felt it could have been handled with more consideration for our privacy. We really enjoyed the pool and spa. The breakfast was simple but pleasant and appreciated. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main restaurants in Portaria. The views over Volos, the sea and the surrounding mountains were beautiful and very relaxing. There is also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel, particularly for the location, views, pool and spa. With some investment in updating the hotel and a little more attention to guest privacy, it could be even better.

It is a 4 star hotel - but the rooms are old and ugly , the bathroom - the bathtub faucet in one room was broken . In the second - didn’t move .... The rooms were downstairs- after going down with elevator - more stairs that we have to carry our luggage( we are around 65-70y) with no portair to help - The hotel is not recommended
