We had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, with housekeeping every day, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Before booking, it wasn’t completely clear to us how breakfast and dinner worked, but it turned out that there is a restaurant right downstairs where breakfast is served, and they also offer a very tasty dinner menu. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we eventually decided not to look for other places in the evenings and simply had dinner there every night. The prices and selection are similar to other restaurants in the area, but we found the atmosphere here much more comfortable and cozy than in many other places nearby. Overall, a great place to stay, with good food, friendly staff, and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Our stay in Himara was made good due to the staff at Velco. We had an unfortunate experience at one of the beach bars, however due to the kindness of the staff, who quickly assisted us with what ever we required, the vacation in Himara was not completely ruined. They brought food to the room and even drove us to the hospital. The two teenage boys are LEGENDS in our eyes. Furthermore, the two waitresses were great. One of them even stayed up and tried getting us a cab back home from the hospital where one of the chefs drove us. Cleaning staff and the chefs were lovely as well. The two owners (I think) are also friendly. Best staff ever. Only thing we could put a finger on is the bathroom, where it would be nice to have a shower curtain as to not splash all over the place. All being said, if we come back to Himara we will definitely stay here!!

Expensive for what it delivers. Overall it’s clean and alright, but the bathroom sucks. It’s impossible to shower without getting the entire bathroom soaked in water. And there were no curtains in my room so the light in the morning was also a problem.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit dans cette établissement tenu en famille. La chambre est spacieuse, propre et moderne. Il y a un balcon avec vue sur mer certes un peu éloigné. Le petit déjeuner buffet est excellent et complet. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant mais vu la queue de gens qui attendaient car nous sommes arrivés vers 20h30, nous en avons déduit qu'il avait une bonne appréciation.

Kind and helpful staff. The room was super nice, spacious and clean. Took 5 min to walk to the beach and 10 mins to get all to the closest restaurant street. But if you stay here you HAVE TO have dinner at the hotel restaurant at least once. It’s amazing and the only restaurant that was actually full every night.

Udsigten var rigtig god, personalet bad ikke engang om ID ved ankomst, hvilket var lidt mærkeligt, morgenmad fin. Rengøring kom mens vi stadig var på værelset, jeg gik ud og sagde, at vi var ude om 10 min… da vi så kommer hjem om aftenen, så er der ikke gjort rent (kan være en misforståelse)

Det luktet rent både i gangen og på rommene. Hotellet ligger i perfekt gåavstand til stranden. Personalet var veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Om vi manglet noe kom det raskt på plass. Restauranten deres var superkoselig og maten veldig god. Om du skal til Himare er dette et trygt valg.
