Really convenient location and the price is right. Don’t go in expecting the Ritz and you’ll have good stay. Check in was quick and easy and we had no problem finding street parking close.

No parking but still have to pay for it. Old building. No cable in the room. No updates on hotel.

Really needs a renovation and updated. It's a neat old building, but needs some polishing. Shower had bad pressure, yet the sink was aggressive. You will hear all noises in the hallways.

No parking, had to park a few miles away and Uber. Staff was unprofessional. Our room was not very clean, in disrepair, and the safety lock was ripped off the door. The air conditioning worked well.

Rooms felt super neglected, and in need of repairs, with wall paint and trim looking old and dirty, bathrooms were particularly bad, extremely crammed and low quality fixtures, with a lot of bubbled, peeling paint, with unfinished paint jobs that were applied over walls

The whole place is running down, this is my 3rd time there, last time I was there it was 2022, when they said they will close for renovation, o saw it was open and decided to try and see how it looks now. Disappointed, rooms smell and sticky floor, not enough keys,

2/10 Poor

Worst hotel experience of my life. Nothing worked, including elevators and in-house phones; staff were friendly but seldom at the front desk or anywhere to be seen; the pool was under repair; there was no on-site food, drink, or even a working vending machine. Shower with a peeling privacy cover on the window. Clean sheets and a comfortable bed. On the third day, I had to have the room fumigated for bugs. Looks nice from the outside, and close to downtown. It was the only downtown hotel with vacacy or I would have moved. A rundown property pretending to be a historic hotel.

Honestly, the only thing this hotel has to offer is a close proximity to downtown St.Pete. The hallways smell of mildew, the carpet needs to be replaced, the rails on the stairway are caked with dirt, the rug in our room had stains on it, and the doors are dirty. Not to mention you can’t even access the pool which has junk stacked around it and it’s filthy! Also, they don’t have cable , only antenna signal and that was so poor I got no signal in the room. Also, there is a bar in the lobby which it’s functional! If you read this pay the extra money and stay at a much nicer hotel. I know this won’t happen, but a partial refund would be nice or a partially working hotel.

We had to ask to change rooms because our first one’s toilet was not functioning. The condition of both rooms were disgusting. The carpet was extremely dirty to the point they had wet spots on them. The building is old (which is not the problem) but the smell of cigarettes in both rooms, the carpet, the sheets on the bed and towels full of cigarette smell was too much for my kids to sleep on for a few days, so we left to another hotel. Horrible experience. My son smelled like cigarettes after he showered because of the nasty towels.

Front staff was great. The room did not have an iron and no blow dryer. Housekeeping did not clean neither made the bed. They just put new towels, but no coffee.

Really disappointing stay this past weekend. My flight was delayed so I called ahead to check in since I wasn’t arriving until 5:30am. I was told everything was set and I could just grab my key when I arrived. I also paid the required $50 fee during that call. When I got there, I was met with a lot of questioning about my reservation even though I had already confirmed and paid. The staff member had just seen me arrive in a Lyft but still told me they had no parking, which would have been a deal breaker if I had a car. The room was in poor condition. It felt like it hadn’t been properly reset, the toilet wasn’t clean, there were sugar ants all over the bathroom sink, and there were exposed screws on the back of the door. The shower valve was broken and took several minutes to find hot water. The TV barely worked and had no cable. The hotel looks nothing like the photos and is in rough shape. A Motel 6 would have been a big upgrade. I reported everything to the front desk after the first night and was told there was nothing they could do and I was free to leave. Would not stay here again.

Overall a fine stay. The bathroom could've been much cleaner and they ran out of parking for pride weekend, but the staff were all very kind and helpful. The checkin was quick and easy and not too expensive.
