other than it felt like a Heat Sink in the center of room 28, that the air conditioner could not keep up with, it was a good stay. My late wife and I would regularly stay when needing to just get away, and I will continue to do so

The location is clean but there is a reason they don’t show what the rooms look like. The rooms are clean but everything is very dated and looks like something out of a horror movie. If you can get past that then it is worth the price.

Beds weren’t very comfortable. Bathroom was the worst. I’ve stayed in in many many years. Made me long for the old two star chain motels along the highway.

It is clearly an older property. But the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, even though it is right off 101 it was quiet, the bathrooms are stocked with very nice towels, unlike what you usually find in less expensive motels. The showers were warm and had good water flow but could use an upgrade (but they were clean). I stayed for three mights while on a hunting trip and will stay there again. San Miguel is pretty much a wide spot on highway 101 just north of Paso Robles. Our double room was well under $100/night. Since we were out all day the lack of amenities like a pool or breakfast.

Not too bad

Good for the price:) the staff was very friendly and quick to help even though we checked in late. It was clean and good for a quick stop. It’s a motel with not the best beds but I don’t regret staying there, I didn’t ever feel unsafe. It was quiet and the ac works.

You get what you pay for

It is a motel. It could stand to be deep cleaned and updated but from the looks of the outside they're getting there. The workers are extremely friendly and I never once felt unsafe. I would stay here again if ever I needed to.
