Very clean and modern place to stay while you hang out in Asheville. The rooms were pretty much anything you could ask for, especially if you are staying for several days. Full fridge, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, comfortable beds, mood lighting around the beds and more. If you are looking for the traditional hotel with a pool, place to work out, bar - this is not it and it was kind of refreshing. Very convenient to have the garage parking tied into the hotel elevator system and also like the security of needing your room key to get to certain floors. 100% would stay again.

Our 1st time in Asheville, traveling from PA to VA & then to NC for the Neurosis/Melvins/Kylesa/acid bath show at the outdoor Hellbender spot. We were greeted like family by the delightful woman originally from along Island,NY. Wish we had gotten her name, she made check in a breeze & had many recommendations for things to do in Asheville. Room was very spacious,comfortable & restful. Great on-site parking. Highest possible recommendation to stay here. If we are ever back in Asheville, we will surely stay at the Artful way.

Beautiful location, limited number of rooms, tall ceilings, everything brand new! Laundry in each room, and you can tell a lot of thought went into making your stay comfortable. There were laundry and dishwasher pods available, a full kitchen, and comfortable bedding. Major plus - blackout curtains which make the room pitch black - perfect for those who like to sleep in. Breweries, coffee shops and eaters within walking distance. Garage was kept locked and secure. Could not say enough good things about this place!

This was a really great option for staying in the River Arts District. It was also extremely close to East Asheville and Downtown. The room was spacious, clean and modern. We got a room that had both a full kitchen and laundry in the room. There is no front desk service overnight, but that was not an issue for us.

In July 2026 this spot appeared brand new. The hotel is cool and funky with artsy design throughout. The room with the mini kitchen was helpful and easily had enough space and shelving to organize a family of 3's stuff. Keep in mind you will have to find on street parking or pay $20 for the garage parking. This a cool neighborhood with some neat spots but most are closed by 8 or 9pm on the weekends. I would come back given the opportunity.

Very clean room! Kitchen complete with appliances, dishes, utensils and coffee maker. Bathroom is so clean with all toiletries. Room comes with washer and dryer and more! Gated parking for $20 (would even be better if room came with free parking).
