Fabulous view

Busy road location but excellent parking and spacious room with a wonderful view across the lake when we paid a small upgrade. There's a narrow footpath to the various restaurants and bars along the banks of the lake.

Lovely hotel and views

The hotel looks pretty bad and run down from the outside, but inside it is lovely and warm and welcoming, it looks like it's had a refurbishment. The staff were lovely, the room was lovely and so was the breakfast. Best views from a hotel I've had for years too. I couldn't fault the hotel other than outside appearance.

For a four star hotel, the room we were given was tired and dull. Chipped tiles in the bathroom and scuff marks around the bedroom. It was however clean. We were told by reception that it was the only room that had not been refurbished! The rest of the hotel was fine and the views of the lake were fantastic. Staff friendly and restaurant was good.

Excellent hotel. Cross the street, and there is a little path that gets you down into the water. The only thing I didn't like was that the main road was right underneath our balcony, and it was impossible to have a conversation out there without some motorcycle group interrupting it.
