The location is excellent. I was able to stop at the hotel for bathroom and water breaks throughout the day because it is so conveniently located. The common living room area is a great way to meet new people. There is a shared refrigerator, which was nice. Coffee is provided in the shared area along with cookies. Housekeeping was wonderful. The hosts were very different in their approach with the guests. One was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and enthusiastic. The other was the complete opposite. However, they are only there for a few hours a day for check in. If you arrive later, they provide you with a code to enter the building. It all worked out well. You can definitely hear sounds from other rooms, but I do believe this is an old house, and it is quite charming. There is no elevator.

This is a wonderful choice for being in easy walking distance to the major sights in Florence, plus many shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only drawback is the flight of stairs to climb to get to the reception desk, but that is minor compared to all the positives of staying here. We would definitely stay again.

The location is excllent within walking distance of everything in town. However, the front desk is only available for a limited hours. Also the supply of toiletries is limited with shampoo in small pouches and no bath gel. On one occasion, the cleaning staff forgot to leave a shampoo pouch, and we have to wait for the next day.

Great location in the center of all the main sites. Even the furthest site was only ~10 minutes away. Because it's so close to everything, was able to stop at the B&B anytime to get refreshed and some relief from the summer heat! Staff was wonderful and spoke English.
