Parts of the hotel I saw were tired, holes in the carpet, poor repairs. My room was clean, the bathroom was not so good - paint flaking off the walls from damp, dead spiders. Didn't expect much for the price I paid, but think I could have paid less. Signs everywhere telling you to pay for parking, so whilst in the carpark before checking in. Entering the hotel there were another 2 signs saying you must pay for parking at the start of your stay, to then be told at the front desk I didn't need to pay - slightly annoying.

The rooms were large and clean, other than the container of drugs under one of the beds. The Wifi didn't work at all, and the controller for the TVs didn't work either. One of the TVs was stuck with Audio descriptions on, which actually ended up being quite funny. All in all it was much better than we expected it to be for the price. Although the windows are all old single glazing, the rooms were warm and dry. We had a walk to the Red Bar & Grill for food, since the restaurant part of the hotel (the main reason we booked) didn't serve food, and was just being used as a bar instead of as advertised. Not the worst hotel experience Ive had, by far, but also far from the best.

holes in carpet, toilet seat was loose, had nowhere to hang clothes, shower was too hot and would not turn down, no lamp or light switch near the bed so had to switch light off near the door and find the bed in the dark and you could hear people talking outside all night. on the plus side it was free parking.

Terrible accommodation. I'm a contractor and had been working in 38 degree heat, really needed a shower and I was so disappointed to find the shower in my room was useless. The shower was actually dangerous, as the heat would fluctuate from really cold, to quite warm for about 15 second, then it would go scalding hot. The property is also unkept and a filthy sh**hole. Never again

This is the worst hotel i have stayed in. It was dirty, window panels and radiator all dirty. Very sub standard repairs in the room and ensuite. One of the taps in the shower was falling off. We found stains in the bed sheetts. The rooms smelled. When we got to the hotel we found a coupke working in reception and they had a baby sitting on one table i. The reception area. Everything about the hotel was awful, very ghetto! Please dont book, I defo wont be

The hotel was very good. Staff were helpful and the room I had was very clean with a very comfy bed. My stay in Mansfield was very enjoyable thanks to the very good hotel experience.

accessible, near train station.lovely staff, clean room, with parking area, with billiards that my son enjoyed. there's just no hot water, but their maintenance team is available at mid day.

Damp smell across the entire building, poor carpet with tears, stains on towels and bed linen, had workers with chainsaws and heavy machinery for tree chopping working though until 4am. No hot water or heating on our 2nd night of stay so slept in clothes and left in the morning without a shower.
