It is a nice quiet place to stay. They have an on-site restaurant and bar. There is also a restaurant next door. They are just minutes from attractions like the Kelpies.

I've stayed here numerous times over the years, a lovely hotel. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order, staff are always very friendly and helpful. Also the food at Cooks restaurant is highly recommended.

Room was quite dated but clean & bed confortable so great for an overnight business trip. Shower quite poor, not very powerful. Worth noting that they host quite a lot of events so may be some entertainment noise in the evening. Did not use the food facilities.

After a nice check in at the lovely reception area things went downhill. Opened door into room and strong Smokey smell . The room itself wasn’t the cleanest however the bathroom was ok cleanliness wise. Sadly toilet required flushing action several times to actually flush and shower head permanently dripped water . Certainly not 4 star standard 🙁
