Hotel is conveniently located and room was very clean. However, they put me on the fourth floor which has no elevator service and a winding staircase that a traveler struggles getting the suitcase up and down. Avoid the fourth floor room assignment.

Optimal location for exploration of the old town and close to the railway station. Super friendly staff and great room with great beds and excellent bathroom. Loved the shower. For the style of hotel we missed hairdryer and an iron in the room though. We’d be happy to stay there again.

A lovely hotel tucked away off a private courtyard. Staff and facilities are wonderful. Recently renovated, the hotel is fresh and new. The hotel features a more formal restaurant that offers views of a streaming canal. Very quiet. Highly recommended.

We were greeted by Raphael on our arrival who was extremely pleasant, spoke excellent English and was very professional. Our room was overlooking the canal and was very clean and well equipped. We had breakfast everyday at the hotel - there were plenty of choices and the food and service were excellent. We also dined in the hotel and again had a wonderful meal and excellent service. The hotel is situated right in the pedestrian old town and was very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. We will definitely be back in Spring!

Newly renovated, this hotel shines in its plush comfort, beautifully decorated rooms and hotel staff that were exceptional in every detail. The location was excellent also right in the heart of Old Town Centre and canals. Train station is a five minute walk. A fabulous winner all around!

I had a delightful stay here at this cute small new hotel. Paris-sized (small!) room with modern and artful finishings/ amenities and style. Closest thing I’ve had to a functional American-style bathroom/shower in France in any hotel under €300 which was a breath of fresh air. Love the artwork on the walls, nice location in the old city 5 min walk from train and close to lake. Check in was fast and easy and in English if you want. The hotel restaurant where they do breakfast seems a bit stuffy / expensive/ formal for picking up a pastry and orange juice but what can you do (and there are a gazillion other options nearby). I had dinner at the hotel restaurant my first nite and it’s pretty good, maybe a bit overpriced (you would get significantly better at this price point in Paris) but still very nice, English menus available which is nice. I note that there is no hotel lobby if you care about that kind of thing. But there is an elevator and also a separate entrance for the stairwell if you hate elevators (I hate elevators).

Service: First desk personal was a bit difficult to communicate with (not well English speaking) Asked for ekstra duvet. Were given a duvet and a sheet self to put on. Asked for other room. Nice staff called to offer us this after two days. Room: Odd room. Entry via a very long empty corridor Very dark - only one window Lamp and ceiling deco placed to the side of the bed - not central. No bed lamps Light switch by entry - not by bed. Bathroom-makeup mirror very low placed. Soap dispenser just under plug. TV placed to the side of the bed - not in front. Door to (?) in middle of room. A room for sleeping not for spending any time. Facilities. No commonspaces - indoor or outdoor. Very closed restaurant space. No option of buying anything at the hotel others than in the restaurant. Staff: Friendly staff - but over 4 days many different people in this very small hotel. Felt overpriced compared to other hotels visited in the same vacation period.
