You cannot beat the location or the pools at these connected properties. The rooms are also lovely but it’s the not so little things that are more than annoying: light switches that don’t work, many many steps and major distances between rooms and dining rooms, necessitating shuttles. As most morning flights leave Mao before 9, more staff needs to be hired to assist at check out.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Binidufà. I knew it would be delightful, having stayed at Son Vell earlier this year, but it exceeded all my expectations. The team were kind, attentive, and shared some fantastic local recommendations and insights. I stayed for a couple of nights of much-needed R&R and left feeling completely transformed. It’s impossible not to be moved by the craftsmanship and aesthetic of the hotel, especially when combined with its setting, completely enveloped by the wild beauty of Menorcan nature. I’m already planning to return in September!
