My trip to was with mixed feelings. - we arrived as a couple with our son- 3 bed solution. The extra bed was so hard that no one could slaep it. So we had to sleep together. The bathroom was decent but when u showered u got water all over the floor and it took us nearly 20 minutes to dry it up. Not something u wanna spend ur time on when u are on vacation. Finally when we arrived at breakfast we expected that would somehow decent - but no bacon, no scrambled eggs, the presentation of the food wasn’t as u expected it should be - this just ends everything and sad when the Hotel looked good when u ordered it.

The price equals a nice mid-range hotel in Aarhus or Copenhagen, so this being in the countryside with generally lower prices we expected something at least at that level. However, we were a bit disappointed. Very confusing check-in. The reception was closed even though it wasn’t even 20.00. Quite difficult to get an iron we had been promised by e-mail beforehand. It should be in the (closed) reception. Eventually a couple of polite but confused young staff from an onsite restaurant helped us. Most staff seemed to be teenagers or at least quite young. The hotel was large but without any atmosphere. The room was a nice size but very basic. Not even a kettle and some tea. No effort to make it cozy. Not what you would expect for this price. Continental breakfast in a charmless restaurant. Had the room been e.g. 500 DKK cheaper there would have been a better match between price and quality/service.

This hotel reminded me of being in an elderly home

This hotel reminded me of being in an elderly home! The bed was terrible — hard and squeaky — and the pillow was even worse: flat, lumpy, and impossible to get comfortable with. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom that lingered in the entire room. Everything felt unclean, and the general level of hygiene was simply not acceptable. The service was just as disappointing: cold, uninterested, and unwelcoming. No effort was made to make guests feel seen or cared for. Breakfast? A complete letdown. Poor selection, low quality — and not even a decent cup of coffee. The dining area was packed with grumpy, sour-faced elderly people, and no one — staff or guests — seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not a single smile in sight. The whole place felt tired, sad, and neglected. Definitely not somewhere I’d ever return to or recommend.

Booket to dobbeltværelser, ét af dem med en ekstraopredning. Den ekstra opredning var ikke gjort klar og personalet nævnte vi selv havde mulighed for at klare det med det ekstra sengetøj på værelset. Der manglede en topmadras til en futonseng med et bredt metalstykke i midten - helt umulig at ligge på. Topmadrassen blev leveret og var så et tre milimeters toplagen. Så fik vi en weekendseng, der var så gammel og mør, at man ramte gulvet når man lå i den. Der var lange sorte hår på lagenet i dobbeltsengen på det ene værelse. Der er var lidt lugtgener fra toilettet, som om vandet havde stået stille. Ydermere lugtede der af øl og alkohol på det andet værelse, hvor der samtidig hang ledninger frit fra tv’et med samlemuffer. Mildest talt mangelfuld belysning på badeværelset. Herudover generelt spindelvæv i hjørner og skabe, føntørrer var næsten ubrugelig, ingen sæbe til badet. En ærgerlig overnatning, der på ingen måde levede op til forventningerne til den pris. Vi forsøgte at komme i dialog med personalet ved udtjekning men de ville hellere have vores kommentarer på mail.

Vi havde booket overnatning og fået “suite 100”. Suite var nok at oversælge de 2 lidt anonyme rum i kælderniveau - dog med vinduer til gården i midten. Badeværelse med spa - og bruser i spaen. Venligt personale og god morgenmad.

Hotellet er slidt og trænger til en kærlig hånd. Det er højsæson for sommergæster og hotellet virkede godt booket, og netop i sommertravlheden synes jeg det er mærkeligt man har en ubemandet reception fra kl 18.00. Vi talte faktisk ikke med noget personale, andet end tjeneren i baren om aftenen, hvor vi i øvrigt måtte ringe på klokken 3 gange inden der kom betjening. Opholdet var fint, hotellet ligger godt ift nogle dage i området, så hvis vi kommer igen er det grundet beliggenheden
