I particularly appreciated the welcome from the staff! The hotel has a lot of charm, but my room could do with some renovation. The breakfast is very varied and of high quality. Please note that access to the pool is subject to an additional charge.

A very good hotel with friendly staff and perfect location. Clean and nice rooms, some with a fire place that is easily started with a remote. Pleasant, fresh and quality breakfast but baked beans missing. The breakfast is extremely pricy.

Great place to stay in Mechelen

Vwry warm welcome on arrival. Our room was spacious, clean, and bed was very comfortable. Shower and bathroom excellent. We did not use the spa facilities, but they looked lovely. The location is excellent with so many lovely places to eat and drink so close, as was the town. Excellent value, would highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed for 6 nights at Hotel Ve in Mechelen. Our hotel room was a great size with a large shower and seperate toilet. The hotel is really well situated on in the middle of the old town and you can walk everywhere, which is great. We had breakfast included and this was a really good way to start the day. We particularly liked having a fresh omelet cooked each day. Overall the hotel was a great experience

Oppressive decor in rooms

Great location on the canal waterfront with super helpful staff. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The only down side is the hotel itself is very dark, we had a cozy room on the ground floor and it felt so gloomy, this is not helped by the brown/mushroom/black decor. This alone would put me off staying again- too oppressive.
