The staff was lovely and welcoming. However, we were very disappointed with Room 6. It was located inside a restaurant, separated only by a glass door with a curtain—something that was not indicated at all in the booking. To reach our room, we had to walk through a busy dining area in the evening, and the room itself was literally beside a restaurant table. While the hotel is advertised as having a quiet atmosphere, Room 6 is isolated from the other rooms and situated in a noisy, public space. Additionally, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. On the plus side it’s in the city centre and very walkable to shops and restaurants. The hosts also booked us a taxi to the airport which was appreciated.

The suite was awesome. We appreciated that it had a fridge. Rituals brand shower gel was a nice surprise. We needed extra duvets and a staff member has shown a great care to deliver them. The whole design of the hotel is really cozy. There is no reception, but the keys are conveniently in locker boxes or the doors. Highly recommend to go to the nearby restaurant to ask if there is a hotel reception (joking, they seem to be really fed up with this question 😄)

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und der Check-in verlief unkompliziert. Leider war das Zimmer extrem klein, teilweise renovierungsbedürftig und nicht richtig sauber. Für die Größe und den Zustand ist der Preis völlig überzogen – es wirkte eher wie eine Abstellkammer. Zudem lag das Zimmer direkt neben dem Essensbereich, war sehr hellhörig und die Dusche hatte keinen funktionierenden Duschkopfhalter, sodass man die Brause ständig selbst halten musste. Insgesamt enttäuschend.
