The parking was good , the reception was very helpful. The room had an amazing view but was very dated and could do with updating. The bar was also good . The restaurant was unable to cater for my wife who is coeliac/vegan and after speaking with the restaurant manager they were unable to cater for her so we ate out within walking distance. As a suggestion perhaps the restaurant should consider catering for special diets?

The bathroom was clean but a little dated , staff were so nice and very friendly, breakfast was fine but I would not recommend the vegetarian sausages. Parking was plentiful until an event is held. The carvery is very good and very popular, with a reasonable price tag. The dining areas are good with some nice waterside views both inside and out, as the hotel is on the waterfront. .

Having travelled for 3 hours it was disappointing to find the large car park full as there was an event on as well as a carvery. Had to wait a while until someone left to grab the space. We would have altered our plans had we known this. It would have been helpful if part of the car park was designated for residents. On the plus side the staff were helpful and pleasant. The room was ok although slightly tired and unfortunately it was above the outside drinking area so we found this rather noisy. The hotel is in a very attractive location and boat trips were available a very short walk away.

Check in was really easy and the staff were very friendly. Room was lovely though a little warm, thankfully a fan was provided which lowered the temp slightly. Air con needed at some point if they weather stays like it is. Big carpark and a lovely area outside. Food was lovely, great choice at breakfast and thankfully the dining area has air-conditioning. Lovely to sit outside and watch the boats coming and going. 2 great singers on while we were there on the Friday and the place was really busy which is great to see. Couldn't get a broad view unfortunately. All in all great value for money for the 3 nights we were there.

Our stay at the wherry hotel in oulton broads was fantastic, beautiful clean room so cosy, everything you need with toiletries are supplied in bathroom the staff are amazing they can't do enough for you to make you feel welcome they all went above and beyond during our stay, they all should feel so proud of themselves, this is our 3rd stay at the wherry hotel and will be booking another stay very soon, and with ample parking at the hotel there's no issues with parking, big thankyou to everyone at The Wherry hotel ☺️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff very welcoming at reception, room looked a little tired, a very rusty radiator in the bathroom set the tone, ample parking, didn't have breakfast so can't comment but we did have the carvery which was delicious. Drinks were a little expensive, £12 for a pint of fosters and a small pinot. Wetherspoons not 2 far away hence the moan regarding drinks prices. we have visited many times before but now they are under new management. Location fantastic very central to lots of amenities.

We recently stayed in a king room overlooking the water and it was wonderful. The room and bathroom were both spotless . It was the hottest day of the year so the windows were already open before we got there along with a fan that I requested so the room was at a sleepable temperature. Breakfast was a buffet which we also really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and I would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming helpful staff. Late-Afternoon meal needed re-cooking after not being cooked to requested quality. On return to hotel after a theatre show, found the bar already closing at 22:20 - rather early. Room was basic but clean enough. Bathroom radiator was very tatty, spoiling otherwise clean bathroom.
