Solo traveler here who stayed in the smallest room they had which was all I needed. The only issue I had was that there was only one outlet in the room to use…And the outlet was at the base of the bed in no range of a mirror and my adapter wouldn’t stay in it, constantly just fell out so I had to prop things in front of it to make it stay put. Other than that- the place was well maintained, George at the desk was very nice and helpful. And the hotel is in a good, safe location to walk everywhere. Bonus nice rooftop area to sit out and view the acropolis as well. Thank you- 😊

Excellent central location and charming stay! We had a fantastic time at Kimon Hotel Athens. The hotel is in a perfect spot in the Plaka area just a short walking distance to the Acropolis, which made exploring so easy and convenient. It’s also close to all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions, so we never needed taxis or public transport for most things. George is absolutely the best, he was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better! We really had fun during our time here. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of historic Athens. We’d happily stay here again!

Kimon Hotel is a true gem in Athens. You cannot beat the location. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay and a great roof terrace, with a wonderful acropolis view. George is stellar and goes out of his to make you comfortable and informed. There is a spot for quick breakfast directly across from the hotel. The hotel is quiet and has amazing air conditioning!

Fabulous location for such a reasonable price with genuine rooftop patio view of the Acropolis. At least a dozen good restaurant options within a 5-minute walk . I was allowed to check in early and the desk clerk also helped me book a taxi to the airport during the transportation strike — this was no easy feat! I highly recommend Kimon hotel!

Great hotel in excellent location in Plaka near cathedral. Clean basic room perfectly adequate and great value with WiFi. Good cafe opposite. George was very welcoming and friendly and recommended a number of excellent restaurants, gave us a street map and looked after our bags after checkout. Would definitely return to Hotel Kimon
