The room was very clean and as described - the kitchen included all the things you need for a shortish stay, we were able to cook dinner when we wanted to. Site lovely and quiet - out of town but with easy access to a bus route or the beachfront walkway. The beds are very hard - it's put me off ever having a memory foam mattress! Although there are safe's in the room, you have to pay rental for a key to use them (it's the same rule for the air conditioning remotes) which seems a bit much when they are listed as a room amenity.

We had a fantastic stay 24 to 31 march 2024. The lady on reception was so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. That also goes for the pool bar ladies and the guy's at the Arena bar. So friendly and food was spot on. The bungalow was spotless as were the outside area's. Lovely seafront walk to other areas too. Would definitely stop here again. I would highly recommend this lovely place.

Spacious apartment, pleasant surroundings

Pros: lovely holiday complex with well kept gardens and pool area, which didn't feel crowded. Very spacious living area in apartment. Balcony had a nice sea view and walls kept it private, but also no sea view once you sat down due to the walls! Cons: slightly unclean surfaces on arrival (crumbs, hairs). Kitchen doesn't get cleaned by housekeeping, there were some tiny ants on the surfaces during my stay (not unexpected in hot climates, but wouldn't expect in a holiday home)

Roaches, extra charge for AC

Roaches in the room..they leave you roach spray to handle the issue. No AC, it's extra charge to get the remote for it, which also means no fan. Wasn't an issue for me, until I sprayed the roach spray and there was zero air circulation Otherwise location is very good and room was nice

As I've never been to Lanzarote booked a last minute flight wothout accommodation. My first experience of thisnisland was Palmeras Gardens. Tbf, it was the only place that was for under 100quid. I was greeted in Reception by the wonderful and charming Celia. She was really attentive, supporting and had a positive energy about her. I really enjoyed the apartment and seating area out the front. This propert was only available for 1 night but after the 2 subsequent evenings elsewhere at another location, I really wosh Palmeras Gardens had an available let for my total of 3 nights. I travel frequently and hate being around the "typical" brits in resorts. I didnt k lw what to expect of Lanzarote but didn't realise it was basically a resort island. Resorts and paclage holidays aren't my cup of tea and i am so happy i found Palmeras Gardens. It was a nice quiet location situated under Montaña Roja, i walked this various ti.es and would recommend this location and set of holiday lets.

I would like to start by saying the accommodation and staff when there were amazing- if it were not for the issues around payment and communication, I would have left a very good review. We opted to pay at property on arrival, paying the little bit extra for this option to have some flexibility. I received a notification from my bank a week before travel that the apartments had attempted to take £935 (agreed price was £873). I stampeded to call them but I got no answer at all after hours of trying, so messaged on hotels.com with no reply. Eventually after stalking every communication method , someone responded via email that I had to pay full price of stay one week before travel (not pay at property as agreed). I assumed the difference in price was a safety deposit, so I contacted my bank to allow the payment. We had a stay- apartment was clean, tidy, great location and lovely pool. Upon checkout, I asked about the extra payment to be told that they had not taken a deposit. I was told as I booked via hotels.com to take it up with. It transpires that the charge came through to my bank in English pounds not euros as agreed, as the card provider the hotel uses a process called dynamic currency conversion, so basically they exchange at the rate of their provider, which was an awful conversion. Had I paid at property as agreed, I would have incurred no fees as my bank does not charge to convert. Word of warning- you will be charged before and will pay more than stated.

Lovely villa in pleasant gardens

Staff were brilliant especially sorting out a problem with mosquitoes in villa. The site is beautifully laid out with ample car parking. Close to beach and Dive Centre but some distance from main town of Playa Blanca. However, lovely walk along promenade to the town. The villa was good as it had separate kitchen with microwave, kettle and hob. Very quiet, away from the loud music of the large hotels and restaurants. Small patio area in front of lounge/bedroom was good and adequate for 2-3 people. Everywhere, including villa, clean and well maintained. Swimming pool looked OK but did not use. Would definitely book here again.

Fabulous place to stay

Peaceful location, we stayed in apartment number 4 , nicely furnished, amazing shower, shower gel and hand soap provided. Towels could be bigger, and some were tatty but changed 3 times over the week we were there. Beds also made daily, when toilet rolls were also replenished. Handy little supermarket. Arena bar, very welcoming, food excellent. Check in was straight forward collecting keys from the bar. Check out was excellent 👌 the lady was so helpful, sorting a shower room and booking the taxi. Downside I would love to have had a sun lounger on the balcony, and also a freestanding fan in the apartment. (For circulation) Would definitely stay again.

Malgré quelques aspects négatifs (tels que l’odeur de la terrasse où l’on doit étendre le linge, ou la présence de petits insectes présents dans le bois de la salle de bain), cet hôtel est super ! Le personnel est très gentil, le cadre est magnifique, la chambre est très grande et toute équipée. Le parking est à deux pas, la piscine est grande et chaude, et il y a de nombreux transat. Le sentier pour se rendre à la plage la plus proche est vraiment très agréable également, offrant une vie imprenable sur l’océan et l’île voisine. Petit plus pour les agents d’entretien qui font du super travail !

Le complexe est très bien, belle piscine mais non chauffée, un beau parc. Le problème, c'est d'avoir pris le logement économique, nous ne pensions pas être logé dans un appartement très sombre, à l'entrée du parking qui laisse penser à un logement du gardien et l'extérieur à notre arrivée avec les restes des incivilités des touristes qui jettent leurs déchets à 2m des poubelles. Le nettoyage à été rapide après avoir signalé ce problème à la réception. Le logement est extrêmement propre.
