Staff was very friendly and professional. Lobby was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Room was clean and on the larger size. Furniture and lamps were a little sparse.The view from the balcony overlooking the golf course and pond was a bonus. Continental breakfast was odd with a staff member handing out prepackaged pastries you would get from a vending machine. Overall it was a good stay.

The lodge was decorated for the season. It was clean and quiet. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the golf course. It was beautiful. The free continental breakfast was sufficient for me. My husband added a hot meal for a small additional fee. My only complaint is that the ice machine was on the lower level and they do not have a vending machine for sodas/drinks. You could purchase cans of soda from the front desk, but the front desk attendant had to retrieve the cold drinks from a different area. We had a relaxing stay. We were going to explore the grounds more on our second day, but it rained.

We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.
