Loved the property and its overall vibe. The restaurant was excellent for dinner, however, although it advertised a full menu breakfast, there was only a buffet which was not worth the $23.00 per person. Would love to go back once all the repairs from the flood have been completed.

The wifi was a tad slow, but that’s not a knock on the place at all. It’s tucked away, a little remote, so it was expected. Staff were super kind and helpful, very understanding about a later check in, and the room was exactly what I needed. I didn’t have the time to check out the area, but the golf course looked quite nice and it’s right across from a lake, so the views honestly make up for anything that might come up.

This property is in a great location view wise, but far from any other amenities in the area. We found maintenance lacking in a few areas - our cottage had a toilet that was not seated properly and didn’t flush well at all, also we would have liked to do some laundry but 8 of the 10 machines were out of order - there was one washer and one dryer that were supposedly working but from the looks of them we didn’t want to take the chance of using them. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a cottage. I was really happy to see all the cookware and dishware in the kitchen. We easily cooked our own food which we wanted to do. The front desk staff was amazing to answer all the questions. During our stay the laundry machine was broken so we could not do laundry. For some people that might be important to check before booking. For us it was fine as we did not have time for the laundry as we were busy in exploring Cape Breton and it was not our priority. More over we packed enough clothes so it was not required. The network coverage was weak, but we enjoyed staying away from the internet. The wifi is available but you had to be in the resort to get connected. The outdoor pool for little kids was half full. So, kids complained about that. Overall good experience of staying in a cottage. I will definitely re-book if we go there again.

Patio chairs unusable, drain for sink plugged. No pen/paper in room. No menu for either restaurant in room. If you require additional linens or toiletries you’ll need to ask at the front desk as your room does not automatically receive maid service if staying for more than one evening. We didn’t use it, but the pool facility was nice as was the beach across the street. The price was good as well. Overall, ok but not exceptional.
