The stay was very nice our first room was quite cold and we were re routed to another room which was an upgrade and it was very comfortable. The breakfast spot was very good with many muffins coffee and assorted jams jellies and toastable breads :)

8/10 Very good

Loved the on-site resteraunt and the owner Iris. Loved the proximity to the hill. It was very disappointing to not have the pool up and running.
Nancy, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Ordinary hotel, but good service

The hotel is well located at the bottom of ski slopes. The hotel does not have any cable or staellite TV. The hotel was overcrowded, i didn't use the outdoor spa because about 20 persons and many kids were in it at all time. Breakfast was disapointing. They offer pre-wrap egg sandwich, warm bottle of juice, cereal or french toasts. On arrival, the hotel didn't have my reservation, but lady at front desk was super nice and found me a room at the rate i booked on hotel.com.
Frederick, 5-night trip

8/10 Very good

All good overall
Pierre, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Shower was warm only a first few minute then cold. Quite isolated area. Only the place we can get dinner is the restaurant in the hotel.
Kazumi, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Tennis courts need a major overhaul, continental breakfast was pretty limited (muffin, oatmeal, yogurt) and room could use a little sprucing up (vanity in bathroom and dresser were both pretty dinged up). Also restaurant is closed 2 days of the week when a lot of other restaurants in calabogie are closed as well. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay - staff were great, bed was comfy, nice big soaker tub, would def stay again 🙂
Lisa, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was unfortunate i had no hot water to shower around 7pm.
Melisa, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Property looks very tired and needs TLC. The pool and hot tub was out of service. Disappointed it wasn’t posted. The main driveway needs repaving.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The room could use updating. The carpet had tears and the window locks didn't lock. Also the hot tub was not working at the time and the pool was cloudy.
Laura, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We stayed here for our 1st year dating Anniversary. We had pizza from the local pizza place, fabulous pizza, kind service, and they delivered free to the hotel. The second day we went skiing. Very nice service from all the people working that day! Late afternoon, my boyfriend proposed to me on top of the ski lift hill! I did say yes! Everyone around at that moment clapped, banged there poles together, and people cheering from the lift. A beautiful spot to say yes to the man you love!! Perfect trip all around!! Thank-you everyone working for great service!!!

10/10 Exceptional

It was nice with lots of potential activities to do. Weather did not allow us to take advantage of this. The personnel was very nice and room very clean and spacious. The only down side is the included continental breakfast could be a lot better, no fruit, had to ask for more croissants and the only protein was a already made english muffin sandwich that we had to heat up. No peanut butter... I would of like some yogourt, peanut butter, nuts, seeds and or fresh fruit. Tks.
Julie, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I booked 3 double rooms for my kids (all young adults) and their partners for the night of 25th July 2024 at a cost of over $1000. At 12 noon that day, the hotel informed me that due to construction these rooms were now unavailable and instead they would all be moved to a house where other guests (some strangers) had also been moved (a total cost to all occupants of nearly $2000). I have been trying to arrange a rebate with the manager Marcy because this is not what we paid for, but to no avail because she does not return messages.
Tom, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Be WARNED, check in time ends at 10pm. We arrived around 10:30pm to find the reception desk and the hotel empty. There was an after hours number posted, but no one answered. We stayed for 45 minutes, walking around the hotel, looking for staff and calling the after hours number. Neither myself nor the Expedia rep could get a hold of anyone. We ended up driving an hour to find a different hotel where the concierge laughed at my story. Neither one of us had previously heard of a hotel that ends check in at 10pm, nor one that leaves their guests stranded overnight. I requested a refund the night of our arrival, October 4th. After attempting to contact the hotel and following up with Expedia five times over the course of two months (Expedia also couldn't reach the hotel during this time), I finally received a reply today (December 1st) that Calabogie Peaks had refused to provide any sort of refund, discount or credit. I hope you make some much needed changes to your policies.

Beautiful resort

We were there off season and on a Tuesday so the restaurant was not open for dinner but it is a beautiful natural site with golf course and marina with beach area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Renovated and ultra clean room.

Terra st tge ftont desk was amazing. She recommended the Red Neck Bistro, sine yhe hotl restaurant and var are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. She git ys a rude with Paddys Wagon so we didn't have to drive. Her service was excellent right down to a Burthday card with breakfast biuchers and champagne glasses so we could celebrate in style.
