We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and had an incredible view. We also had the pleasure of attending the wine and Port tasting, which was such a wonderful experience. The presenter was engaging, passionate, and truly captivating, making the tasting both fun and fascinating. The rooftop terrace and pool were absolutely amazing and felt incredibly luxurious. The breathtaking views made it even more special! We also took some time to enjoy the hotel’s wonderful spa, which offers a wide range of services. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind during our stay. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety of choices. We also took a lovely walk around the property, and the grounds were simply beautiful and peaceful. Every part of our stay was memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Amazing hotel and views -the location is unbeatable, the pool and property is amazing, in fact none of the pictures proves justice, this is an amazing hotel with lots to offers…. A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste wasn’t really there. Perfect location for a stay in the Douro valley. Relatively new hotel with clean cozy rooms and amazing views especially from the pool. More hanging options for the towels next to the shower would be a helpful adjustment. For not single use room lack of privacy when using the bathroom.

Views from this property were breathtaking! Hotel is brand new and immaculate. Staff was friendly bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were on the small side. There is no gym at the facility although there is a lovely spa. Location was great to explore the Quinta’s and vineyards of the Duro Valley. You do need a car or driver as uber is not easy to get.

도우르 포도밭 한 가운데 높은 언덕 위에 있어서 풍경이 아름답습니다. 새벽에 테라스에서 쏟아질듯한 별을 본 것도 잊지 못 할 경험이었어요. 호텔 레스토랑 음식 수준이 높았고 간도 짜지 않아서 만족스러운 식사를 했습니다. 다만 슈페리어룸에 머물렀는데 침대와 테이블 사이가 좁아서 지나다니면서 나무 침대 모서리에 다리를 자꾸 다쳤습니다.

Gostei muito da experiência no hotel. Adorei o conforto da cama, a decoração, o pequeno-almoço, a piscina e, sobretudo, a paisagem. O jantar também foi agradável, mas o tempo de espera foi demasiado longo e senti alguma falta de coordenação da equipa, tanto no restaurante como no bar. Houve ainda uma situação com um funcionário bastante transpirado que considero pouco adequada num serviço de restauração. Por estar no topo da montanha, penso que umas barreiras laterais em vidro ajudariam a proteger do vento sem perder a vista. No geral, gostei muito da estadia e acredito que, com algumas melhorias no serviço, poderá tornar-se uma experiência excelente.

Escolhemos a Quinta do Barrilário para comemorar nosso aniversário de casamento e foi perfeito! A equipe muito atenciosa e sempre querendo ajudar. A comida é impecável, desde o pequeno almoço ao jantar. O SPA é uma ótima opção de relaxamento. O quarto é ótimo, muito bem equipado, de bom gosto. A Prova de vinho foi muito divertida. Tudo isso é cercado de uma vista deslumbrante e uma paz que faz bem ao coração. Recomendo mil vezes!
