We really enjoyed our stay. On checking in, we were met by a friendly receptionist and their offer of a glass of prosecco. We loved the Bishop's House! The location was perfect - loved that it was on the quieter side of the river but it was so easy to just walk across the bridge (we were only steps from it!) to get to the old town section when we wanted to go there. The hotel itself was perfect! The front desk staff were always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of hot and cold food - something for everyone. The best part of the hotel was our room - room 44! We had a lovely little balcony with wonderful views of the city! It was unexpected and so perfect - we spent a lot of time sitting there relaxing each day. The bed was comfortable, the amenities were good quality. The air conditioning worked great (highs were in the 90s F while we were there). I highly recommend this hotel!

Had a last minute booking due to plane cancellation and coulnt have gotten luckier. It was a great stay. It’s a very small hotel and Theresa at the front desk was super friendly and extremely helpful. The room was fine and comfortable with ample room and perfectly maintained. Really, it was one of the more flawless hotel visits that I’ve had in recent memory.

Excellent stay here! Right at the tail end of the Charles Bridge. Very central and safe location. Can get a bit loud at night as it is a cul-de-sac with restaurants/cafes. Reviews say there is no elevator - this is NOT true. There is an elevator. Wifi is a bit spotty at high traffic times. The breakfast was intercontinental with a wide selection and quantity of food. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!! I would stay here again.
