I had a decent stay here overall. Staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive, and the location is right in the center, very close to trams, buses and trains. The facility itself is also fine, if a bit bland. My main grievance with this hotel is the non-existent soundproofing though. I was in a duplex room, joined with the next one by a door (obviously a very thin one). Even the faintest sound from the next room would sound like it was inside mine, including the fabric rustling when the guest next door was getting dressed. Obviously I heard every single word when they were on a video call (luckily in a language I’m not fluent in), so if you’re planning a hot lovemaking vacation, this hotel might not be for you (unless you’re into that kind of thing). It seems the doors in general are leaking sound, as I could easily hear conversations word-by-word inside the rooms while walking down the corridor. Inside my room, I could occasionally hear sound from inside several rooms down the hall. A lesser inconvenience was the slightly chaotic breakfast layout, with massive columns creating several bottlenecks in the relatively small buffet area. Putting the two (slow-brewing) coffee machines in different ends could’ve helped relieve the queuing that cut off other stations. But as said, a minor inconvenience. I’m grumpy in the mornings.

Fantastic hotel - location & facilities are spot on. It’s close to Riga’s coach and rail stations, as well all major shopping centres, beautiful park and Old Riga. The staff were great and we loved our lovely & modern room, with great view, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. It was incredibly quiet, so a good sleep was a bonus! Will stay again when in Riga next.

The room is clean and quiet, the breakfast is fine. Bartenders are the most helpful people in the hotel. Reception staff is unprofessional, borderline rude. For the first time in my 30+y travel experience, there was zero explanation about hotel amenities upon check in. What is plain scandalous, I was given a room of a lower class than I paid for in advance. Had to go all the way to the manager. In my room, I could hear every toilet flush from the top to the bottom floor. No complementary water, no water coolers, no ice machines. This is a striking bad experience against the general quality service culture of Rīga hotels.
